It turns out there are all kinds of crazy countries in the world. Who knew that there are places like Jarvis Island, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and Tokelau?

A quick look at the CIA Factbook, now in its 29th year of availability to the public. While the printed version of the factbook provides a snapshot of the state of the world as of the first of the year, the online guide is continuously updated as new information becomes available. You can even submit an update.
