You have far too much free time on your hands my friend. Still, better you doing it than anyone else. You have been the inspiration to virtually all the meetup groups going at the moment, that soon we’ll have to call you groupie man! :)

Again you never fail to surprise us with your new creative ideas that have great outcomes!
Good luck “groupie man”! ;)

Hey guys, don’t think that with those nice words you will run away with clean hands. You guys will be founders of this, in fact all present Arab blogger meetups will be :-)

C’mon, pump in you ideas and suggestions.

Let me tell you what I have in mind.
1. Organize a regional meetups. Once every 6 months. Say “Arabian Gulf”, location Dubai, timing to be discussed later. North Africa, location Cairo, timing later, Levant, location Amman, timing later.
2. In these meetings, form and elect a Blogger Board Members, which will represent that area in the M.E. Meetup.
3. M.E. Meetup, timing and location to be decided by board members of the three areas. Invitation will be open to anyone to attend.
4. M.E. Meetup to form and elect a M.E. Board members
5. M.E. meetup to discuss and decide on regional action and www actions to leverage the M.E. Blogging culture
6. Register the new society and raise funds to support it’s action

Am I dreaming? No, I’m sure we can do it. One thing we have to keep in mind is that this is a long terms project.

WOW! This is one big project Haitham. It sure needs a lot of work and all our efforts together. We’ll do our best to make this succeed. Although I think many disagreements will occure concerning locations. But we can do it one country at a time so that we make sure all bloggers will get the chance to meet up :)

A great writer said: “We are separated by ideology but bound by dreams and tragedy.” Since the governments of the world can’t seem to fix things, I have decided to seek out my Muslim Brothers and Sisters. I am an American Liberal Democrat and a “self styled” Christian. From what I know about Mohammed, he was a great guy who did good things. I wish we could all get along. I don’t know how things got so screwed up but Greed and Power probably have something to do with it. None of us are perfect. You folks need a life with hope. I am just one man in this big world but I can at least reach out. I am not crazy about everything my government does and I bet you feel the same about yours. But I love my country just like you love yours. We are all basically the same. Let’s try to get along! :)

I have a simple question. What is wrong with Israel wanting to have a country to call their own?
