On a side note, the supposed "Longhorn salute", using the thumb and little finger, means "Hang loose" in Hawaii and is a common greeting. As an historical note, the gesture originated as an industrial accident when a cane railroad engineer lost three fingers of one hand. But after returning to work, he would still wave at kids as he drove the cane hauler locomotive through the cane fields. The kids would wave back to him with their thumbs and little fingers extended and the gesture caught on.
Update (Thx Lake): This is the Hawaiian "Hang Loose"!

Actually, this is different from the Hawai`ian gesture. Here, they are seen with their index and little fingers extended. However, hang loose is then the thumb and little fingers are extended, like this.
Thx Lake.
So lets just call it the "New Devil Gesture" ;-)
