Of hundreds of photos taken for identification of the dead, I (Dahr Jamail) selected these in order to show the face of war. Due to most media outlets in the west continuing to not show the daily horrific images in Iraq-of wounded and dead soldiers, civilians and fighters, I decided to put these on my site.
