I don’t remember why I decided to visit Committee to Protect Bloggers (committeetoprotectbloggers.blogspot.com) today, but I did. The last post titled “CPB IN ARABIC AND FARSI”, sounds interesting. They are asking volunteers to start an Arabic branch of CPB and are offering their help to get you started as they say. So far cool!
But wait, I looked at the sidebar of their blog and here comes the surprise. Under “Organizations”, what you see? They are linking to DebkaFile (debka.com) and Aish (aish.com), I was shocked. In between all the human rights and journalists organizations links, they are inserting two well know Pro-Zionist, Pro-Israel, Anti-Arab, Anti-Religous (except Judaism), Anti-Humanity, well known hate websites?! Specially DebkaFile, which is a very well know Zionist propaganda.
The question is, Why? Is it intentional, or just by accident? I hope it’s a mistake done by ignorance of the blog masters.
Now, I’m not accusing these guys (CPB Committee & Associates) with anything, but if the original CPB founders decided to link to this type of websites (Pro-Zionist), unintentionally, then I urge him/them to link to an “Anti-Zionist”, Pro-Arab, Pro-Palestine, etc.. websites as well. Or drop all such links other than international recognized human rights organizations, before they fall in the trap of biased propaganda.
All what I’m trying to say here is, be careful. The intention and means might be right but the back support might be using you against your own intentions indirectly.” It might sound strange, but look at it, even if you are just linking to them and that link drives traffic to Zionist websites. Sound very little, but believe me the impact is like a snow ball. It just keeps on growing bigger and bigger.
If at all you believe that this method of demonstration is worth using, I mean online committees to protect bloggers, then build your own. You don’t have to branch from the original CPB. At least I wont be linking to a blog that is promoting another websites, who’s mission reads “Why be Jewish?” - www.aish.com
Bottom line, feel the need of having a committee to protect blogger, do it, but please use the right support!!
PS. I didn’t link to any of the mentioned websites intentionally. I don’t want the suckers to get any direct traffic from here. If you are interested, cut and paste. ![]()
