  • Entrusted with keeping the region out of the hands of evil following 55 years of war between two unnamed superpowers.
  • Having superheroes, or superhuman beings, is an essential need - just like God.
  • Higher being is there for help, and can affect change on his own. There is a global and human need for that.
  • It's all about good versus evil, and good eventually triumphs.
  • They have their own ways and their own villains to encounter, and eventually succeed through hardships.
  • Aya is adopted by an underground fighting organization that turns her into the Princess Of Darkness.
  • Zein, known as The Last Pharaoh, who was transported from Ancient Egypt in a time capsule.
  • Jalila, developed superhuman powers after surviving a nuclear explosion.
  • Rakan, a warrior with a magic sword from ancient Arabia.
  • Female models are at least as powerful as their male counterparts. Jalila is most powerful character in terms of abilities.
  • The heroes' enemies include the United Liberation Force and the Zios Army, who are "still clinging to their extreme views". Both enemies want complete control the City of All Faiths.

This is how the Middle East first superheroes look like.

A Princess of Darkness, a time-traveling pharaoh and an ancient Arabian swordsman are among the superheroes of a new comic book - the first to be designed specifically for the Middle East. This comic book was published in Egypt and managed to remain relatively uncensored throughout the region while in some countries the only change has been to cover up Jalila's abdomen.

The most interesting thing about this book is the characters and the mission. While the characters seems to cover most of the geographical areas of the M.E., the mission is to fight 'United Liberation Force and the Zios Army', which looks to be the symbol of U.S. regime and the Zionist. These superheroes are the Saviors of the City of All Faith, which is another symbol of all the Occupied Lands.
I believe this is an important milestone and new approach to the superhero and role models culture of the M.E.

    Thanks for the heads up!
Jalila in particular should be a role model for Arab girls!
Will it get past the Bahrain censors though?
Wouldnt we want to see her covered up, sneaking out of her parent's home in the middle of the night and snatching other women's husbands?

You guys want to know one on the millions problems the arab world have?

it's so amazing that you think you are the ones living in a free and democratic world and and we, the westeners are the ones under
    theocracies and dictatorships.

If it wasn't because is quite a serious thing I'd laugh for a few days non-stop.

too bad we don't live in 2100 ( but it will come :^-) ) and we find a planet for you all to ship all the bloody muslims there. And guess what?

I bet a few months later you would have killed each other. That 's your way of life.

Demo. First off, I laughed my head off over your claim that we think that "we live in free and you live in dictatorship?!" Don't let me start now. You think you live in freedom? where?

As for the rest of your interesting "noise", I find it waste of time answering such a racist bigots. You need a lot of work on your logic. Nice trolls though…
