Roll Over… This is Democracy of the West

In the west, you commit a crime, you don't go to jail. In the East, you go to jail, even if you don't commit a crime!

Here are some examples:

West: Have you heard of Bassim Chmait? He is dead. He was 20-yr-old college student. He was shot in the head by an off-duty Homeland Security officer a month ago in Mission Viejo, CA. All eyewitnesses so far have reported that the youth posed no threat to the off-duty cop who works at Los Angeles International Airport under the Department of Homeland Security. The officer still has not been charged with any crime. In fact Sheriff's spokesman said, "There was no clear evidence of a crime being committed, so there was nothing to book him on."
Bassim Chmait was an Arab-American. You can read more about his life and death here: http://www.justiceforbassim.com and here: http://www.iacenter.org/chmait.htm

East: [Quote] Ahmed (for more details log on to http://www.freeahmed.blogspot.com) has been held in custody since May 2004 and no one lifted his little finger to question why he is being held without access to a fair and just trial for so long.

These are just two examples of endless list of unjust in East/West.

Bottom line:

In the East, we don't claim we have a Democratic and Just institutions. So people may go to jail for ages unknowingly why and until when.

In the West, were they claim Just and Democratic institutions, knowingly what they did and what they will keep doing (anti-arab http://www.littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/) doing (hate and crimes) to Arab, yet they DON'T go to jail!

The poor Arab man! Where the hell you should go to find justice? East or West? Seems like JUST is not made for you!!!

The Bassim Chmait case has been sent to the Orange County Grand Jury for further "investigation". We should know more in 2-3 weeks they say.

One can hope…however, I am not encouraged by what I read of Orange County DA Rackauckas. A number of bloggers will be posting on this topic in the next few days. Hopefully, it will be a LARGE number of bloggers. The injustice stinks.

    The Arab Rodney King?
If an Arab is shot dead and there is no TV camera to capture the images, what sight does it make?
