This is the worst part of maintaining your own blog, you have to do everything yourself. But I don’t mind it for several reasons:

1. I’m sick of the recent spam waves and the bandwidth and trouble they are causing the blog and the host server. After I solved the comments spam issue few months back by adding the AuthImg hack, now a days I’m facing an army of trackback spam in an average of 250 trackbacks an hour. These suckers needs to be stopped. And to do this, I need to install new tools but that requires to have the latest version of wp.

2. I want to change the look and feel of the blog (I get bored fast). Again the hacks and some of the codes I want to use are only compatible with wp 1.5.

Therefore, you can conceder this blog as under maintenance for some time. It might not be available for some time, things scattered here or there, etc… I hope to finish the job very soon. Meanwhile, I’ll try to keep posting whenever I get a chance.
