Thomas,
Gosh, I am SOOOOO glad someone knows what I am talking about and that it isn't crazy. I'm aware of the other information you added also but wanted to start out simple. If you were aware of these individuals connections it would scare you even more. Two of them, Bob Novak and William Kristol are commentators on Fox News. Gee, what a coincidence!!!In fact it was Bob Novak who outed Valerie Plame (Joe Wilson's wife) to the press. If you are following at all "Plamegate" as they call it here, it in an investigation into the outing that keeps hitting stone walls.
Let me see here, PNAC, Bob Novak outs wife of man who went to Africa and came back saying Al-Queda was not seeking unranium in Niger, Bob Novak outs Valerie Plame an undercover CIA agent and endangers our national security because she was working on Iran's nuclear capability. Paranoia? You decide. I'll take a valium and hope when I wake up it was only a dream. Hope I made sense,

Robin,

I read the "Mein Kampf" of the Neo-Cons a few years ago, and that is why I treat everything that comes out of thier mouths as lies and propaganda until proven otherwise.

I didn't read through the whole thing above, but only skimmed the first and last part of the long text, so maybe what I did not find was actually written there.

One of the points missing from the conclusion was that it is not only about the oil sources, it is also about OIL PIPELINES.

In the paranoia of the Neo-Cons, they see/saw the current situation as risky, because a lot of 'their' oil is flowing through 'Europe Dominated' landscape at the moment. The Neo-Cons are not working up anti-European sentiment just because the War on Iraq was not well received here, but because if they can create discord between 'New Europe' and 'Old Europe' as they call it, then that will reduce the perceived threat from Europe. If we, in Europe, infight then we will not, in unison, be able to agree to use the European pipeline as a threat to the US. And by the time their Middle East plans go through it will be irrelevant anyway.

There are too many corporate interests at stake in Europe, so an invasion has not even been considered an option. On the other hand, besides sitting on what should be US oil reserves, those ayrabs are relativelive irrelevant in terms of trade. They may buy weapon systems, but if the US go to war, then the US armament industry will have a much more reliable customer, Uncle Sam!

Considering all this, I don't think it is a coincidence that the order of appearance of US troops is Afghanistan, Iraq, and then Iran, because the Neo-Cons need 'very friendly' regimes in those countries to ensure that they have access to the planned pipeline that will go through, ta-dah, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran!

One of the first legal documents signed by the democratic state of Afghanistan was an agreement between the US and Afghanistan about...what-was-it-now...ohh-yeah...an oil pipeline!

Conspiracy theory? Maybe, but A LOT is indicating that it is probably not!

Haitham,
I really hope you and others get this note, even if this is a very old post. We have what are called "think tanks" here in the US which are just groups of people, with their own agenda, who gather to formulate policy according to their own views. There is one here in the US called PNAC (Project for the New American Century) which is one of the "grand-daddies" of the neo-con movement. I saw this mentioned only one time in depth in our news about three years ago on a program called Nightline which airs at 11:30 at night. Immediately I went to the internet to find out more. There entire mission statement was easily available at the time but has since been pulled and is hard to find. It was written in 1997, long before the war in Iraq or 9/11. I know alot of people say that we "conspiracy theorists" are a bunch of nuts, but this mission statement, printed by PNAC spells it all out in black and white. This is the SOURCE that proves our "conspiracy theory" is not a theory but a fact. The members of this think tank fluctuate in and out, but contain politicians, media people, fundamentalist Christians and a few more influential Republicans/neo-cons. Maybe I'm telling you about something you are familiar with, but if not, be prepared. When I read it I was chilled to the bone. I am not kidding, they even have a plan to control the earth from space. Think I'm kidding, check it out. It might be hard to find but it's worth the hunt. Why am I writing this here? because IT'S THE OIL STUPID!

Hi Guys!

Who are you hoping overruns Oman to secure its oil, the Chinese? The fact that Bush gives other reasons besides the oil for his wars doesn't change the fact that he is doing the only thing a president can do to forestall a post-industrial Stone Age.
