Dear God,
I got almost choked when I heard about the bombing in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
I am not sure why I am so upset, but I am actually upset.
Maybe it is because I can empathize with the victims. Maybe because it is the fourth time in two weeks, a Terror Wave are hitting innocent people.
Let's recap the past two weeks:
July 7, 2005: Train and subway bombing in London. 50+ dead, 700+ wounded.
July 21, 2005: Train and subway bombing in London. No casualties, few injuries.
July 22, 2005: Tourist hotel bombing in Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt. At least 85+ dead, 200+ injured.
July 22, 2005: Nightclub bombing in Beirut, Lebanon, only hours after U.S. Sec. of State Condi Rice visited that area. At least 12 injured.
All brought to the world by "The Name to Allah."
So, when are these crimes going to stop?
Dear God, I know I fall short of Your perfect will everyday. I have tried to do my best, but I realize that is not good enough, but that will not stop me from trying again and again.
Please help us know what to say and do to comfort the bereaved as this terrible day continues.
To those who have survived, may they heal quickly and return to a normal life as soon as possible. To those who've died, many they all ascend into the Upper Planes above.
May we never forget this day, and may justice be swift upon those responsible.
And I pray for the future that we may come to a resolution without further losses.
May the lord succor everyone that is suffering because of this.
And as always, I wish peace and love to you all.
Say 'No To Terrorism'.

I add my shock and horror. Senseless, evil violence. 60 of the dead are Egyptians!May our hearts never have any response but this to such carnage.
Haitham, your prayer is beautiful. God's ears must lean closer to hear such precious words. He is near to the brokenhearted. We stand with you in prayer.
I add my voice to the others… God help the families of the victimes, and those who are injured…It is a truly sad thing that is happening to the world.
I too add my voice to yours.
Also, there was the suicide bomber at the Turkish holiday resort…
[...] blooded killing is done in the name of God. Haitham talked to God about how he feels, and it made me won [...]
Compare the bomb crater in the Sharm El Sheikh bombing with the one for Bali. In Bali, the crater was three times as deep and five times as wide. Before those clowns filled it in and destroyed the crime scene. Something doesn't add up. The Bali bomb was supposed to have been perpetrated by a bicycle repair mechanic that let his purchases of weedkiller and calor gas get a little out of hand. Sharm El Sheikh was military explosive, yet the crater was relatively small, as you would expect. In a car bomb explosion, most of the force goes skywards, taking the line of least resistance. Bali must have either been dropped from the air (highly unlikely) or the bomb was buried below the road. You can fool all the people some of the time … Wonder how that translates in Yiddish.
I strongly feel that hesitation to condemn what happened at Sharm El Sheikh, will make those behind it feel they have support among us. We have to unite and stand together against such cowardly and inhuman acts. There can be no justification for killing innocent people.
We didnt hear much about the bomb at the Turkish resort because the likely attackers are now our best friends in Iraq…..ie Kurdish militants.
Mubarak of Egypt wants to take advantage of the situation, he declared -as expected- his candidacy for president to serve a FIFTH term! again he called for an emergency Arab summit to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh to rally support fro other Arab leaders. Mubarak believes that Bush made good use of 11 Sep. 2003 terror and he got re-elected because Americans stand with their President at time of war. I hope Egyptians learn from the lesson and not elect Mubarak who turned Egypt from a non-aligned leader to a mere mid-eastern nation with no influence on development taking place around it.

Atrocities
I'm still in shock about last night's Sharm Il-Sheikh bombings- two weeks after the first London bombings and a couple of days after the second, yet more innocent souls have passed away as causalities of terro
