The AIPAC cover-up/blackout

email

Just received this email from someone called Steve. It's worth sharing:

I faxed and called several people to see why they were covering the news of a guy that shot a car because the alarm kept sounding, but not news about spies in our Pentagon. No reply from anyone except the local newspaper here in Panama City, Florida. His reply (Editor-in-chief) was that he didn't know what AIPAC stood for ! I told him and sent him a copy of the indictment
and he refuses to speak to me now!!!

What can you do when the Jewish people are embedded into everything? There is such a low percentage of Jews in the USA compared to other Americans but the Jews have managed to get themselves into all of the important places that make a difference or have the potential to make a difference on Israel (Occupied Palestine).

Even friends and family that I am very close to refuse to even consider any knowledge or information unless its pumped from CNN, CBS or FoxNews etc. Its very frustrating to say the least. I have been fighting for Palestinians for a long time by writing letter to representatives and anyone else who would listen.

So My friend, what else is there to do? There HAS to be some way. The only thing I can come up with would be to have access to millions of dollars in advertising funds. That's the only way, because you have to get Americans attention with fancy ads and slick movies and it has to be shoved down their throats.

I can hardly wait until the movie Occupation 101 comes out as it will certainly help I think occupation101.org.

Anyhow, I just wanted to vent..

Thanks

Steve Hicks

If you are wondering what is AIPAC, and what's this story about, help yourself here! Last time I talked about this issue, Slate (a division of Washington Post Newsweek Interactive) said that Sabbah's Blog fulminates!!

I think the more important fact is that no media blackout or lobbying at the Congress could stop the FBI from protecting the U.S. national interest. Just like the case with the jailed Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard, when the “security establishment” vetoed every attempt by president Clinton and the Congress to free him in exchange for the Israeli “peace efforts”.

I wrote about this in my blog http://1st-home.blogspot.com/2005/08/american-nationalism.html

Quoting the letter:

“What can you do when the Jewish people are embedded into everything? There is such a low percentage of Jews in the USA compared to other Americans but the Jews have managed to get themselves into all of the important places that make a difference or have the potential to make a difference on Israel (Occupied Palestine).”

This reminds me of the vitriolic propaganda used in Nazi Germany prior to WWII warning of the infection of Jews throughout German culture. I find it really disappointing you’d circulate something like this, classifying Jews as one monolithic voice, scheming for control of the world. What about all of us who’ve spent years speaking in support of Palestinian human rights and statehood? It’s like saying all Jews are lamenting the exit from Gaza when there are countless numbers of us who pray for the occupation to end. Painting people in such stereotypes is just as wrong whether it’s done to Jews, Arabs or anyone else. It’s racism and bigotry, pure and simple, and there’s no way we’re going to achieve peace as long as people on both sides continue such unconstructive mudslinging.

ps- may Jonathan Pollard rot in jail. A traitor is a traitor, no matter his religion.

It’s freedom of speech. You have the right to reply, he has the write to talk.

No one has the right to silence any one voice, and we have to learn to listen (not necessary agree)!
