Thanks! Here I'm sharing it. Ok, so apart from the spam, I was curious to look farther and see who is 'Greg Jones' (no offence man, but I really don't follow too much the Western Music). So I went and checked godblesstheworldonline.com. First thing that got my attention was the dedication:

My eyebrows goes up... excuse me? I thought this is a song for the World Peace, not only American... So why biased here?! Going further into the website:

Ahh... ok. America only...again. Fine, but I thought the guy said "God Bless The World - Not Just America"? Maybe he is not responsible for the content of this website...
So I search further to find Greg's blog. I was lucky to find out that Greg just started a blog a couple of months ago. He seems to post there regularly. I decided to read some of his posts, trying to understand Greg's background, style and beliefs, etc... I WAS SCHOCKED. Other than the posts talking about his song, he seems to be interested in Middle East, specially Palestine and what is going on there.
What shocked me was that this Peace Song Musician, seems to be ignorant of the subject he is talking about. He writes "There CAN be Peace in the middle east!!!Don't blow it!". So I read:
Israel's Sharon has done an absolutely incredible major gesture toward peace in the middle east.
Gesture? What gesture? Drawing back from a Palestinian occupied land is a gesture? Ok, never mind...
It's almost shocking. For year after year, the Israelis (and proponents) have considered it to be ok for the Israelis to 'settle' in Gaza, stating that it is the promised land from God. I love God, but I never thought God would condone people literally coming into another person's home (the Palestinians) kick them out of their home, with the help of military backup, move into their homes, and call it the new Israeli 'settlement'. Incredible! And I've been saying for years; how would you like it if someone came into your kiving room...said that they like your living room...and decided to just 'settle' in your living room. Bring the whole family and just 'settle'. And if you were to resist, you were called the bad guy. Weird huh.
Well, that is exactly what the Israelis did in Gaza. And I am so very thankful that Sharon has realized A) that it was wrong and B) that it is time to move out. It may have taken a while, (and bloodshed) but WOW, Sharon is the man!!!!
I don't blame you. This is what the media tells Americans. But what your media didn't tell you is that Gaza "Disengagement" = West Bank Engagement. Where do you think these sellers went to? Sharon's home?
NOW! Are the Palestinians going to realize that this is one of the greatest gestures toward peace in modern day history? Are they going to realize that this is the gift of peace, not a surrender on the part of Israel or even a victory.
Excuse me... We paid a very high price for this disengagement. Thousands of people where killed over decades of US support to Israeli occupation.
Are they going to be thankful to have their land back and realize that Sharon has done a great act? I certainly hope so.
I certainly don't think so. Gaza is not Palestine. Gaza is only 360 km� (nearly double the size of Washington D.C.). What about the rest of Palestine? Forget Palestine... What about the West Bank? Do you know the size of West Bank? It's about 6000 km�. Did Sharon withdraw from the West Bank? Ok, you heard that they escaped from 21 colonies of the Gaza Strip. But, do you know how may colonies are there in the West bank?

There are more than 242 colonies in the West Bank. The largest colony inside the West Bank is Maale Adoumim (63 km�), compare that to Tel Aviv - 54 km�!!! A colon bigger than Israel major city?! And Maale Adoumim is still getting bigger. Did your media tell you that? I guess not.
In the past, many Moslems have declared that so much of the terrorism has been due to the wrong occupation of Palestine land. Well, Sharon has solved that problem. And it is time for the Palestinians to Peacefully accept the gift of peace and cease animosities toward Israel.
Read above again!!! Beside, resistance to occupation is NOT terrorism. You occupy my home, I have the right to kill you.
Right now is the key to the entire future of the Middle East. Don't blow it Palestine!
I recommend that you switch to other media stream!

A note for American media: PLEASE refrain from escalating negativity during this very delicate transition for the sole purpose of maintaining audience attention through pre-meditated sensationalism designed to create doubt in the potential success of this monumental period. Don't YOU blow it either !!!
Welcome to the game. Good that you noticed that your media escalating negatively. But did you ask yourself if they are telling you everything? Did you ask your self why?

US can't live without an enemy, so they decided to call it terrorism, and then a stupid -Talk Show Host like Graham Fired defines Islam as "a terrorist organization". I'm a Muslim, I never killed anyone, I never paid or funded anyone to kill anyone, yet Muslims are called terrorist. However, when US Tax payers support (indirectly) terrorists groups, and when the US Army kills thousands of innocents, and when Israelis kills babies and kids in strawberry field, and when Israel demolish Palestinian homes, they are called "Freedom Fighter"!!!!
When someone blows a bomb, he is called terrorist. But when someone blows a nuclear bomb, he is not!!!
Second, these dummies who shoot the missiles in Jordan are all non Palestinians or Jordanians. And they have nothing to do with Palestine. And no one in Palestine or the Arab or Muslim world applauded what they did. So, why in heavens do all the world wants to stick these assholes with Islam?

what a great article! So many people really ARE ignorant of what is going on. In fact, most of us are, no matter how much we are immersed in it. There are many limits to being properly informed and most truth does not “leak” through. I didn’t know that Maale Audoumim is bigger than Tel Aviv! (I am going to have to read your blog daily, I have a lot to learn)!
But, a person who promotes themselves as being all for peace should more closely analyse what it all means, and just how easy it is to take the spin for truth while promulgating the same old drivel about “the bad guys”.
BTW, the song didn’t do anything for me…. trying to be Lionel Richie, methinks!

I find it to be just great that my little words were worthy of the attention and energy expressed by you and your constituents. I also want to thank you for the added exposure to our special Peace Song project. Your mentions have actually drawn many additional hits to our website, and for that we thank you and all of your coherts. Please keep it up. (Really)
Now, in response to your itemized need to comment on my thoughts, I feel a need to respond to you. First of all, I empathize with how you look at various responses of the general public in a very personal lite because it truly effects you…and your people. As an outsider looking in, we do not have the luxury or the awareness that you would have as a direct beneficiary or victim of what is truly going on. Your people are there. You DO know the truth. You know more facts than any of us who try to gain an awareness through our media. We have to flip through a lot of news channels to try to peice together our own interpretation of some form of truth. But we know wrong when we see it.
I have always found it to be an incredible intrusion and wrongdoing, the whole ‘settlement’ thing. I have always said, ‘how would you like it if someone came into your living room and said that God told them this is their promised ‘room’? And those same people expected you to stay in the back of the house while the ‘settlers’ enjoyed YOUR living room. I have always found that to be incredibly WRONG. My comments were to have been more of an exposure of the change of heart and realization of truth on the part of Sharon. And I DO commend him for coming to a realization of the truth, even if, in your eyes it is to a minimal degree. But we MUST ACKNOWLEDGE CHANGE. CHANGE is a visible sign of the power of GOD. GOD can take, even the hardest, most wrong and negative minded individual, and, overnight, change their heart and mind. Convert them to where they wake with a totally new realization. Don’t you realize that Sharon’s awareness of just how wrong the whole ‘settlement; thing was, was actually GOD in ACTION!?
I trust that you are very aware of the powers of GOD. There are many miraculous changes that are occuring in OUR world today that we need to recognize as GOD IN ACTION! Take Katrina for example. Did you listen to the speech from Pres. Bush? Did you listen in your spirit. Could you feel the transformation that is occuring within his spirit. Could you feel that he has a new care for people that he previously could give less than a darn for. Could you feel that, at night, the GOD that he prays to (which is the same GOD we ALL pray to) must have led him to know that from this point on he is to be more aware of the true needs of people….even just plain ‘poor black folks’?
My friend, there is a divine revelation going on right now. Can’t you feel it. God changed Sharon’s heart. Bush is so brand new today that even his own conservative followers are dissapointed in him. And it is up to those of us who REALLY understand what is going on to share it with others. NOW is a time to observe. To continue in prayer. Because if there is anything that we can learn from their obvious transformations that we are witnessing, it is one, very powerful thing…..PRAYER WORKS! (stop right there…let that settle in your spirit….PRAYER WORKS!)

But anyway, I’m a believer, and I believe in miracles, and I believe that prayer works, but I don’t believe that’s the case of sharon.

Well, you can see it the way you want (of course I believe that every action is a well of God). BUT, don’t you see that this criminal awareness is very limited? If at all he realized that the whole settlement (which we call colonies) are wrong, then how come he is spreading and building more of these colonies in the West Bank? According to your concept, this is becoming half-miracle, yet to follow. If this toke 38 years to realize that it is wrong, then we should keep praying another 38 years (maybe more, maybe less) until it is God well again to make the next Israeli criminal leader realize that it is wrong!!!
Give me a break. God, asked us to pray, true. But he also asked us to fight for our right, and we do. And by the way, both are God’s well. But we also believe, that God’s well does not happen, if we humans do not want it to happen, meaning, God wants all humans to be saved and go to heaven, but humans don’t, and they commit sins.
However, if my sin (in the eyes of some believers) as a Palestinian is to fight the occupiers, then I don’t care, this is a privilege.
