The Arab Committee for the Defense of Journalists, received a large number of complaints from journalists and technicians working in Aljazeera TV station , saying that the Saudi Embassy in Doha-Qatar has been refusing to give them any kind of transit or entry visas , including entry visas for pilgrimage ; Haj and Umrra.

Despite embassy officials' denial, the complaints confirm that the Saudi Embassy instructed all Haj and Umrra travel agencies not to accept any applications for a Saudi visa from Aljazeera TV employees … [via: Friends of Aljazeera]

Does the Haramain Belong to the Al saoud ? since when ? as far as i know it is the holy place for ALL Muslims , and such discrimination should never ever occur . Saudis should not prevent hajjis from performing their religious duty , just because they happen to disagree politically and this event should have caused an uproar and demonstrations > they have no right to prevent people to visit the Holy places , and they dont own Saudi arabia like they seem to think , nor its oil fields, they all belong to the saudi People .
Shame on them , shame on those who spend their time using their religious beads, and praying while turning a blind eye to the Murders and genocide happening in Gaza . if they were truly good muslims, they would remember that in every third Chapter of the Quran , islam says to help end Oppression wherever you see it happening that s what a good muslim is all about , not giving Olmert extra amunition to bomb Beirut (stupid Comments they come up with . why dont they just shut up if they have nothing constructive to say to help their brothers . Oh i forgot , because they must side with their masters in the US , those who protect their safety .
