Tomorrow will be the second roundup of Future SuperStar 3. A show that has broke records over the last two years, in spite of all the controversy that went around it. Some of it (if not all) was of political background, and very few of artistic.
Anyway, I think the producers (Future TV) and the jury team are trying to counter previous negative issues. Therefore, I just read about the plan for this year contest, which is going to be in four levels. Of course level one finished as we saw last week, where 100 nominees were selected from around the world.
Tomorrow will be level two. A new level in the contest, were all the 100 nominees will be asked to perform their best song on theater. For three consecutive days, the 100 nominees will be short listed to 20 only, and selection will be by the official jury team only.
Next will be level three. Again a new concept is introduced here, were females will be separated from males (singing wise), so that both genders get equal and fair share of training as well as participation then voting from their fans. Over a span of two weeks, 5 girls and 5 boys will be elected by the public. One more week will be added and dedicated to a ‘last chance’ roundup for those who lost in the previous two roundups, but only 2 nominees will be elected and they will join the other 10 to make the total of 12 finalist.
Here starts last and final level of the contest. One of the most difficult, interesting and breath taking (I hope) like previous years, to elect a new ‘Arab SuperStar 2005′, after Diana Karazon 2003, and Ayman Al Atar 2004.
All the best for everyone, and pleasant watching (during Ramadan and After :-D)

Too add to your comments, as if arabs need more shallowness, after the war on iraq finished, 36 “infotainment” channels started in the arab world.
Superstar, known also as “idol” in the western countries is currently the largest veiwed show in the world, so its quite a global trent.
This, my friend, is globalisation at its ugliest form… no need for mind products: documentaries, features or news. CONSUMPTION is the new religion of the world.
Rami,
I understand your frustration. But hey, if there is one program I appreciate they copied, it is SuperStar.
First, we need to have a channel for some skills to show up. True skills, not adultery scene as we all see every other day an new born porn superstar like Marwa, Hayfa and the rest…
Second, we also need to learn music. Listen to pros. musicians and there judgment, and open channels for regional participation. This is quite good chance for all Arab.
hi! our atomic program not equail with israel program we need it for peace we want to progress. and it is our right.
