I always like to hear when the US Military comes out with some sort of ground-breaking technology. Once they break it in and work out all the kinks, the technology is offered to the public sector. I will gladly celebrate the day my glass windshield in my car is replaced by a chip-resistant, shatter-resistant, and for all intents and purposes, indestructible transparent aluminum one.
