I don’t find that odd. Actually 45% is a high number, knowing what the Iraqi people have gone thru. Even in the US, most Americans don’t think Bush’s offensive is justified.

I used to be 100% against the war on Iraq. But now that I saw Saddam being on trial I can understand why so many exiled Iraqis wanted it him out at all costs.

For the last 10 years, Lebanon’s Hariri has been trying to free the economy in Lebanon and push democracy and peace (through Paris 2), and Syria’s Assad has been working against him. Now that they killed him, I would love to see Bush go and get Assad.

In the long run, it’s good for us arabs to see the tyranical arab leader punished. May be that will make the arab leaders think before they make their dictatorial and criminal behaviors. So in a way, part of me is starting to believe in the democratization of the middle east.

Now to go back to Iraq. Why do we put blame on the Americans in Iraq? Are the Americans the ones who are blowing themselves up in mosques? are they the ones who are using bombs to impede the elections? Honestly, arabs are doing much more to destroy their own progress than Americans.

Reminded me of what Sharon said once: “Syrians have murdered many more Palestinians than we ever have”
