Just for the record, President Ahmadinejad DID NOT say that “Israel should be wiped from the face of the map”. A more accurate translation from the original Persian or “Farsi” would be something like … “This regime occupying Jerusalem (een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods) must vanish from from the page of time (bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad)”. This is somewhat different!
