The Flutes and the Walls of Israel The first is an impressionable painting entitled “The Flutes and the Walls of Israel”, created by the Italian artist Giuliano Giuggiolo, copies of this painting feature the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign. You can find more here and here!
Syriana The second poster is of the “Syriana” movie. Reviews said (I’ve not seen it yet) that Syriana provides a naked look at the love/hate triangle between the U.S., the Middle East, and big oil. The movie has served notice to Americans: our “great nation” takes advantage of countries while they are in disarray, sometimes creating chaos ourselves… and we know it.

    I seem to remember a story from my Sunday School classes about the wall of Jericho ( book of Joshua )
    Perhaps history will repeat itself.
