The log awaited Wordpress 2.0 is now officially released. As usual, I don't recommend running to upgrade my version now. It's time for discovery of new bugs and flaws. So, why not wait a month or so?! (P.S. They have a new logo and a new website theme, both of which sucks)

That is great to hear. I was reading about the new futures and functions in the new version, not very much interesting for my type of blogging maybe, but I think I have to upgrade sometime early next year to live on the edge ;-)

    Happy blogging, jameed!

Just the new preview frame alone made it more than worth it for me. Haven't found any bugs yet.

That sounds great, oso. Well, thinking over my blog, I think the new users privilege system also sound solid. I guess we need that soon on GVO and my other community-run projects.

Guys don't entice me to run the upgrade tonight :-)

I like the new WP website and logo, prefer them to the old ones!
oso - new preview frame? I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Well, Farhan. The preview that oso is referring to can be seen at the bottom side of the edit page after you save a draft and then open it for edit/review again. It will show you how will the post look like exactly as if it is published in the front page.

New feature, nice, one of the few new things I like in WP2, but not yet convinced to upgrade, specially with reports on bugs appearing now that might affect some of the tools (like ecto) and plugins I use. But I'm sure it will not be late before the guys fix the bugs!

Yeah I'm planning to upgrade too but I'll give it some time. Ah that's the preview oso meant, the current version doesn't show an exact preview. WP 2.0 is looking very attractive.
