Tonight, Aljazeera will air a new episode of Kawalees (Backstage). I was told that it will review the activities of The 2nd Aljazeera Forum, including blogging and the 'citizen media'.

Among the guest whom I know were interviewed and probably clips will be aired; Ethan Zuckerman – Co-Fonder of Global Voices Online, Shaden Abdul Rahman – Palestinian bloggers and author at Global Voices, as well yours humbly.

I remember we all talked a lot about blogging in Arabia and the evolution of it, as well the concerns and challenges the Arab blogsphere is facing and what the 'citizen media' can do to help in developing the 'traditional media'. Not to mention few good surprises that some of the guests talked about. Will leave that for the show, I hope editing didn't cut much from what we said in these interviews.

In all cases, I'm glad that our media is giving good attention to blogging and bloggers in the Arab world. The more the better, no matter the traditional media is afraid from us, or support us
and the infamous Danish cartoons. That's all what the world like to talk about lately :-(
