The recent calls by the United Nations Human Rights Council and Secretary General Kofi Anan to immediately shutdown NAZI CAMP - GUANTANAMO BAY PRISON CAMP was a necessary step which should have been carried out against illegal invasion of IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN and now illegal invasion plans into other countries like IRAN, SYRIA, EGYPT, MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, PHILLIPINES, NIGERIA etc.. numerous list prepared by CIA and OUR KING GEORGE "BUSH" & HIS BOOT LICKER "BLAIR".
It is necessary to understand the gravity of the situation, for the protection and existence of our nations, our leaders also should encourage opening of GUANTANAMO BAY PRISON CAMPS in middle east and brand every westener interfering & intimidating, and causing terrorist disturbances, like CHRISTIAN AMANPOUR a CIA AGENT and numerous others as enemy combatants in the disguise of free press. It is necessary for our existence and our future generations existence to enforce such policies. However, our leaders should enforce a trail against them within a week and execute every westener for causing terrorist activities to destabilise and disintegrate our nations.
All the U.S, British, GERMAN, FRENCH Spies in the middle east should be subjected to same procedures of guantanomo bay. In this there is necessity and our citizens should come out and help us in identifying potential enemy combatants. Aljazeera should openly display possible enemy combatants in the region, who are present to destabilise the regions. One step in this direction is to identify the profile of all western people and their associations to organization disguise and having links with CIA.
For today it is necessary to understand that the rules of the game are " BEFORE SOMEBODY DOES IT TO U, U NEED TO BE PRE-EMPTIVE AND PROACTIVE TO DO IT". If there is no law and order and hypocratical democracy being practiced, where individuals of IMPERIALIST NATIONS hold the veto card for their interest, Why is that our leaders be encouraged to be a part of an idiocratic and hypocratic organization such as United Nations, where it can do relatively little for promoting equality and liberty based on which it has been founded. No citizen of the world should be encouraged to accept and there should civil disobedience movement againt United Nations as well for it is a hypocratic organization for imposing imperialistic ideologies.Why is that United Nations has headquarters in the western nations only. Where citizens of the world need to seek permisson to approach freely to this organization from an Dictator like BUSH. if United Nations need to exist, it has to reform, it has to reflect the true principles of liberty freedom and equality. All the organization should be located at a free zone where every individual or every citizen doesnt have to undergo beaurocratic procedures like visa to raise voice and concern against fascist regimes like West. One such place where these organization can be relocated is Madagascar. By declaring it as free zone and outside the influence of any nations. IAEA it self should relocate to a more independent place.

No, not really. These prisons are illegal, and no one should be having the benefit or the power to run them for unjust purposes as the U.S. does. On the other hand, UN is nothing but a showroom for the superpowers.
When did the UN enforce any action other than what the superpowers like? Look at Palestine for example. If the U.S. is really after just and peace in the region, then why it can't enforce the UN resolutions? And why U.S. vetoes all resolutions that punish the occupier?

When it is ok, to propogate false ideologies and hypocracies. Why is that the west cannot face the truth. Why is that freedom of expression is not welcomed, when the west is criticised. Why are these journalists not voicing concerns about shutdowning the NAZI CAMP. Thanks for branding such open criticism against the west. The author has asked for discussion. If such open discussions are a taboo in the west. Why is that any one propogates free speech.
If there could be state sponsored blogs against destablising nations, killing machines against innocent people in IRAQ, in Afghanistan, Palestine. Why is it wrong to speak freely.
One Simple Question.
WHY IS THAT WE NEED TO BE LED BY A FASCIST REGIME OF BUSH & BLAIR, that we have innocent people killed?
The world has seen nothing but scandals and scandals like ABU GHARIB; GUANTANAMO BAY. or BASRA INCIDENT. There are thousand others and those others who havent come and spoken of the threats like those given by people for legal action.
The author has called on for discussion. Appreciate that aspect. The author has welcomed free speech and opinion. There are numerous issues, if christian amanpour is true massiah of promoting democracy. I presume the author would certainly welcome it and would stand by her. What happened to the face of Democracy when HAMAS has won the election. Ofcourse, it is wrong that one should respect people to live in harmony.
There are simple questions, why dont you call upon intellectuals from around the world to discuss the issues, openly rather than those chosen. The author would certainly come out speak out openly.
If free speech is threatened, if any individual is threatened to call up on for justice for the innocent. People of world should certainly think that they have elected wrong leaders.
It comes down to the same point. Why should we be lead by a nation which propogates hate against innocent people?
The author would certainly stand shoulder to shoulder for the mission of christian amanpour and several other western journalists, who truly belive in spreading equality and democracy in true sense and in true principle.
But the author has certainly got concerns about the true nature of journalism being reported. It is always biased with respect to any nation or religion.
The author is writing this article in order to promote dialogue and free speech. If that is a crime, then europe has done this, and every individual on the earth shall do this crime all life.

Please do not threaten free speech. The author is not promoting hatred. The author is expressing concerns about NAZI CAMPS like these. Should our future generations live in such a world.
There is nothing against any journalist. It is a collective responsibility of any citizen, to safegaurd the nations interest and promote world peace and dialogue. One should understand that the above article has been written to wake journalist against what can one be branded as or what scenarios exist in the current world.
If that is the case, there would be thousand who would be threatened for action.
But the author would certainly be willing to shoulder any journalist around the globe to bring the true principles of liberty, equality and justice.

If the article is inflamatory, every leader who has called upon for the closure of CAMP has given inflamatory remarks. The author has questioned the credibility of the journalist for doing relatively little for what they have been preaching.
The author repeats again, that one is ready to shoulder any attempt to promote equality and freedom in any part of the world. But this has to be done with respect for individuals and respect for their values.
So, if this is how one would be punished for freedom of expression. Then, I should bring to light what european press has done in the recent past.
Thank heavens that middle east doesnt have any camps running like those.
Please do spend time, to think, why should we be should be LED by EU 3 and U.S, when there is hypocracy and there are numerous scandals everyday.

Let me remind you. I remember this dialogue in a hollywood movie, SPIDERMAN. These are the wordings ” WITH GREAT LEADERSHIP COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY”.
When the leadership cannot accept its own people, cannot accept people of different faith, cannot accept people of different ethnicity, cannot accept people of different ethnicity, cannot accept people of different nations. How can they be called leaders.
The author hasnt got any thing against any westerner nor people of different ethnicity. The article is to promote dialogue and promote freedom of speech and calls for proactive thinking of the existing roles of United Nations, an organization whose sole structure and foundation is to provide an able leadership.
I should applaud Kofi Annan for calls to close the camp.
Imagine a world, when we elect leaders directly to United Nations, A council where every individual has the equal rights, and democracy flourishing in its true sense. Let us shape such a free world, where every one lives in peace and harmony. Of course for that we need to have order in place.
Let the democratic revolution spread in every corner of the world in its true sense.
I am pretty much happy that number of people have atleast started discussing for creating such a world.
Please do not brand the author as fascist or hypocrat. The author has shown possibilities, if necessary law doesnt come into place to hold accountability of the leaders like bush and blair, for killing innocent people.
May be it would be nice to think of abolishing the regimes around the world and every one electing a local representative to the world council or United Nations. That would atleast ensure some life to AFRICANS, A CONTINENT which has been neglected and millions of people are dying cause of neoimperialistic order of the day.

There was a point made above, saying,

I understand Haitham has rejected this kind of recommendation. I want to add my two cents worth.
The assumption that killing a few westerners in the middle east like the u.s. does in Guantanamo will make the abuses of Guantanamo stop is a false one. The U.S. leadership, and pretty much everyone else will not see the connection. They’d only see the fact that more westerners were killed.
The fact is that the U.N. has recommended the closing of Guantanamo because of the abuses and violations of the Human Rights agreements signed by the U.S. among others. I think the best strategy will be to make the U.S. more and more aware of the crimes it commits by continuing these abuses. If anything, boycott United States’ goods and services until it shuts the place down and shows it has ceased torturing people.
Well..the US is not buying the idea..again. On the other hand..at least there’s a small victory..the movie “The Road To Guantanamo ” won the Best Director award a the recent Berlin Films Festival..The film tells how three young Muslim men left their home town of Tipton, England in 2001 for a wedding in Afghanistan — and ended up as terrorist suspects in the U.S. military detention center at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba…directed by British director Michael Winterbottom.
To change the subject a bit. Big corporations are running the country. This is a free country . We are free to do as we are told to do.

Good question, but misleading, lirun.
1. If the 10,000 Palestinians (including more than 700 women and 300 child) are not considered kidnapped, then they are prisoners of war. In this case, Israel is admitting that its in a war status with Palestinians. So, why is that Palestinians are “prisoners of war” but not the Israeli solider? Therefore, he is not ‘kidnapped, but POW.
2. If one Israeli POW is so important and valuable to the State of Israel and the world, why not the same apply on the Palestinian POW? One can argue that Palestinians are not POW, but terrorists :) great! So, who is terrorist? Let’s assume that the 9,700 Palestinian POW are terrorist, can Israel convince the world that the 300 child are also terrorists?
3. If at all we agree that all the 10,000 Palestinian POW are terrorists because Palestinian are bad and they kill Israelis. So does the Israelis kill Palestinians. And if I can remind you, looking and solving the root of the problems is the best and only lasting solution for conflict. In this case, Israel is the occupation. So, are you expecting the Arab to welcome someone coming to there home and killing them to occupy their home?
This is a war against occupation. Until Israel return all the Palestinian rights, no one, no one can stop them from doing anything to claim their rights. Not even if one call them terrorists. Not even if the Israeli POW is named kidnapped. That does not make him an angle. And as far as s/he is serving in the occupation army, he is a target for Palestinians.
