Your link above, “must read”, takes you to Global Voices-Update Samara catastrophe. Scroll down to the “Baghdad Alcohol Sponge has a rare moment of lucidity, the word on the streets is that it’s the Saudi’s firing up strife between the Sunni and the Shiia”. Like I said, I don’t put anything past ANYONE, but my question is WHY would the Saudis want to do this and which Saudis are they referring to? Government interests or Bin Laden? I just get a WEE bit defensive because anytime someone says SAUDIS again that jump to lumping them all into one basket bothers me. I’m just trying to get a handle on the dynamics of the assertion.

Haitham,
I just linked to your must read and saw Bahgdad Alcohol’s Sponge contention that it’s the Saudis. I PROMISE I will not be offended if you can try to explain this one. Believe me, I know really bad creepy people exist everywhere, but I don’t exactly get the logic of this assertion. Not naive, just uninformed.
