Palestine added to Blogger [dot] com

Good news :-)

Following up on our Jan 2006, Palestine Pledge to add ‘Palestine‘ in the country list at different blog engines, Blogger.com promised to consider adding Palestine soon.

Finally, today blogger.com added “Palestinian Territory” to the Blogger’s Profile Editor.

Thanks to Mahmood who forwarded a confirmation email he received from blogger, and to Eric who posted a confirmation comment at our Pledge saying:

Hi folks,

Blogger’s Profile Editor now has a “Palestinian Territory” item in the “Country/Territory” dropdown:

Thanks for your patience,
-E

I’ve checked my profile and this is what I see now:

Palestine on Blogger [dot] com

Immediately went searching for any Palestinian bloggers, not expecting to find any, was happily surprised to find few, new, just started, Skylark and Fayrouz Shaqrawi. Will be seeing more and more soon, and I look forward to discover new bloggers from my country soon.

PS. to search for blogs from Palestine at blogger.com, you can check this link (tip for searching blogs by country):

It’s really sad that we’re even fighting for this. But, being realistic, life if a series of battles and the wise ones choose the ones that could be won. Thankfully, Haitham through appropriately and chose well.

    So congratulations to all.

Palistine live, regardless of blogging engines’ status!

And thanks to Haitham for highlighting this very important subject. It is only proper and fair.
