American intelligence agencies and presidential commissions long ago concluded that Saddam Hussein had no unconventional weapons and no substantive ties to Al Qaeda before the 2003 invasion.
But now, an unusual experiment in public access is giving anyone with a computer a chance to play intelligence analyst and second-guess the government.
Under pressure from Congressional Republicans, the director of national intelligence has begun a yearlong process of posting on the Web 48,000 boxes of Arabic-language Iraqi documents captured by American troops.
Less than two weeks into the project, and with only 600 out of possibly a million documents and video and audio files posted, some conservative bloggers are already asserting that the material undermines the official view.

Unfortunately it took so many years for Americans to know the lies of their administration. But would this help to stop the war? I guess not! Not until another year or two (hopefully less). This administration master lies, so won't be surprised if they stay there for a decade supported by new lies.
The NYT report has all the links you need to follow to read the published documents (which are in Arabic). But why would I believe these documents? No matter which point of view they support, at the end of the day they are coming from the same end which declared the war. Won't it be possible to include a lot of fraud? I guess it can…
On the other hand, BBC report a Memo which reveals that Bush was determined to go to war by any means:
The memo indicates both leaders acknowledged it was possible no unconventional weapons would be found in Iraq before the invasion, the New York Times says.
The note cites Mr Bush suggesting three ways in which Iraq could be provoked into confrontation.
The US "was thinking of flying U2 reconnaissance aircraft with fighter cover over Iraq, painted in UN colours", Mr Bush said.
If Saddam fired on them, the Iraqis would be in breach of UN resolutions, he suggested.
He also indicated the US "might be able to bring out a defector" to talk about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, and mentioned a proposal to assassinate the Iraqi leader.
