How can Israel constantly fire missiles and bomb Gaza with no intention of killing civilians? They may not all be pure souls, but they aren’t the IDF, reigning terror down daily from their Apache helicopters, Merkava Tanks, and Caterpillar bulldozers. The Palestinians aren’t ones requiring their 18 year-old citizens to manditorily brandish M-16′s for a few years to help prolong and exacerbate the occupation. The Palestinians aren’t the ones receiving billions of dollars every year from the U.S. towards military development. The Palestinians aren’t the ones building a 12 meter wall cutting people off from their own land and families. The Palestinians aren’t the ones giving the middle finger to the UN and the Hague and disregarding international humanitarian law to expand their colonial empire.

The Palestinians and Palestine were there and thriving long before Hertzl put his designs on it in the 1880′s. Go back and read history yourself. Not the Joan Peters or Alan Dershowitz propaganda pamphlets that revisit Zionist myths long discarded, but scholarly works such as Avi Shlaim’s “The Iron Wall, or Robert Fisk’s “The Great War for Civilisation”.

Also, regarding your “missile” claims, let us assume you mean Qassam rockets, a far cry from the precision instrumented Israeli missiles that claimed 7 civilian lives in Gaza two days ago. Since their first use in October 2001, Qassams have claimed the lives of 6 Israeli citizens, and two Arab-Israeli (Palestinian) citizens.

But this isn’t about numbers. Murder is murder. The overall plan is far more insidious. The Israelis keep the vulnerable settlements near Gaza in order to justify its continued military presence and incursions there. Who are these settlers that live in fear of Qassams raining on their heads? They are in large the lower classes, minority and non-white immigrants.

One big chess game, and Israel is willing to sacrifice the pawns, both Palestinian and Israeli, to stay in check.

How would you like to be occupied for 50 years?
How would you like to be living in refugee camps for 50 years?
How would you like if the occupiers took your land and kicked you off with no compesation others that putting you into refugee camps?
How would you feel if the US supporters of these oppressors told you that you are wrong?
You lose your land. You lose your freedom. You are in constant military control. You are not free.
And the largest free country in the world tells you that you are wrong.
What can these people do?
You can call it terrorism.
I call it an act of last resort.

You should all go to the history books and to recent unbiased news reports since you have no idea what you are writting about.
(Look and find out the region history from the 1880 and on).
Regarding the the beutifull and humane palastiniens, please explain me how these pure soles who are suffering and suffocating in GAZA can send between 15 to 30 missiles daily on Israeli cityies with no intention to harm any civilians. What ever israel will do will never be enough to those blud thirsty murderers.

well ,in that day ,i spent the night crying.. my family too (i haven’t seen my father that sad from along time ).we were all are crying (not knowing what else to do or maybe …not being able to do )… i cant stop thinking about the girl (her name is huda by the way )and what kind of memories she would live with …the way she was crying … dont talk about innocent childhood any more!!! and haitham , thank u ….
