So finally, our China editor-colleague at Global Voices, Wu Hao was released. He was detained for nearly five months for a reasons that we all know; freedom of speech.

Like Alaa, Hao received strong support across the blogsphere, with hundreds of fellow bloggers posting on his sister blog, as well as putting up tech tags.

Just yesterday, the free speech group, Reporters Without Borders urged the European Parliament president to raise cases of Wu Hao and few more cyber-dissidents on visit to China, today he was released.

Meanwhile, a new campaign is running to help in releasing the Egyptian blogger, Mohammed al-Sharqawi, and all other courageous advocates of human rights in Egypt.

Let's pray that we don't hear more news about imprisoning bloggers.
