Lebanese Dabkeh on Israeli Music
“Israel has the right to defend itself,” Bush said. So does Lebanese and Palestinian, Bush didn’t say.
The Israeli terrorist killed more than 50 civilians in Lebanon today. They claim that the targets are used by Hezbollah to store their rockets.
Now, the challenge is that none of all the media channels (including the Western media) that covered these crimes could find a single bullet under the debris, except of course the Israeli rocket remains.
Not only that, but could anyone tell me if Beirut International Airport and the bridges which were hit this morning; are rockets store too?
Israel, does not understand that Lebanese, like Palestinians; trust no one but themselves. Israel has to also remember that no matter where this war will take them, they will sooner or later negotiate to release their ‘Prisoners of War’. So, why waste all this time and lives? You will end up having hundreds if not thousands killed (on both sides), while you could solve this whole thing right there and then.
Hezbollah is not what Israel new six years ago. Sayed Hassan Nasrallah yesterday warned Israel of ‘big surprises’, and today he showed Israel some of these. Hezbollah now uses rockets that reached more than 30 km inside the northern of Israel and Hezbollah said that next target will be the City of Haifa. If this happens, this will be a disaster for Israelis.
Guys, this is not Gaza, and this is not the poor Palestinian resistance you are dealing with here. Hezbollah is well equipped and supported. So, if you think this game will end up soon, you are mistaken. Read back the history of resistance in Southern Lebanon and you will know what I’m talking about.
O’ Israel, play the music of your tanks, Lebanon will dance the Debke!

Now Israel claiming two kidnapped soldiers are sent to Iran, in other words Israel wants to get Iran and the US involved into this.
Well equipped indeed. Hizb’Allah missles have just hit Haifa.
Lets us analyse the situation. Israel argues that lebanon is harbouring radical organization such as hezbollah. Or not doing enough to disarm it. With this pretext it has engaged in act of war against the lebanese nation as a whole. So was the excuse against Hamas. How can one nation hold thousand of civilians as prisoners and is not answerable to the international committee. If it is not abiding by the geneva convention. Where is the possibility for other nations to abide by it. Consider a similar scenario, in pakistan if india creates a situation blaming radical terrorist groups with in pakistani territory this would give an objective for war. Similarly there are radical organization with in india being maiost groups, RSS , Bajrang dal who have ethnically cleansed the muslim population. With this pretext, there is a similar objective and interest with in pakistan to safegaurd the interest of 150 million muslims in india. With the European perspective if ETA was in another country, SPAIN would have mobilised a preemptive war agains the state harbouring it. So would britain mobilise a preemptive war against Irish freedom fighters.
These wars are mobilised by political motive of expanding the control or rule. The western nation wants to destabilise nations so that they can survive. The North korean crisis and Iranian crisis is nothing but a negotiation with china. A stronger iran and a stronger north korea is in the interest of china. So that its borders dont vulnerable and facilitate ease of invasion and destablisation of the nation.
Let me borrow a couple of words some one “it is sometimes dangerous to be left alone you might have greater possibility to fall prey to the wolfs”. Thats what has been happening with the post soviet disintegrated states, the case of european union expansion and the case of falling prey to U.S - kazakhistan.
For the arab nations to survive and confront this aggression on all side. The only possible approach is set up a united command and control and disintegrated self operating units (In the american and british system they are called private charlie groups).
Israel’s next move is to use CNN media and its media allies around the globe for a propaganda that the soldiers are moved from lebanon to syria and from syria to iran. This would mobilise a pre-emptive strike to syria iran and subsequently moblising a broader middle east conflict with all the nations including saudi arabia.
the middle east nations should embrace for a longer war and should prepare for a greater conflict that would bring direct involvement of all other western allies of israel.
Haitham, there should be a special series to make people aware or bring awareness to people about various institutions in western world and also the should mobilise efforts to learn about the intentions of western nations by interacting with think tank pool of the western world. this is one approach of enlightening our people and preparing them to face the challenges
Aiyn, I’m with you totally. It is a very good idea to know just what your enemy is up to so you can prepare. Believe me, their wheels are in motion, from the halls of my government, to the fundamentalist churches (nowadays incahoots with our government) to the more secretive and clandestine entities. There are many Arab-American groups here that would also be a very good source of getting a pulse on things here. If there’s anything I can do let me know. Masalama.
First, Israel does not want to get Syria and Iran involved — Israel politicians do not want to be perceived as the ones that created the middle east war.
Second, Israel will never cave in and exchage the soldiers for prisioners as that would encourage more kidnappings.
Third, Hezbolah has made a strategic error and never expected such a strong response. To the point that they are now clearly uncoordinated launching old technology rockets that do almost no harm. They will be hunt down in the next few weeks.
Fourth, Syria is now under pressure from the US and Europe — Support from Syria for Hezbolah will diminsh soon.
Fifth, Lebanese goverment have no clue on what to do. Population does not support Hezbolah and they will be perceived as the cause of all this pain.
It seems that the leadership in the middle east never learns and the only thing they do for their people is to bring them pain — never education, investments, etc. Hezbolah and Hamas will be non-existent in a few years…
James,
Why don’t you just go and join the military and put those words where your weopon is and spare us the “ever distorted media and info on middle east since you were born” point of view. It wont make any differance arguing with you. The fact that non Americans know more about American history more than most Americans is only the tip of an iceberg of how much the media has achieved. The same reason people buy one brand of pants and not the other not knowing both are created by the same company and same material is exactly why you see everything on Israels side, media, media, media. It tells you what you need to know about. Feeds it to you….num num..
It’s a matter of time before Israel and the US will commit it’s biggest mistake. Humans can only be pushed so far before snapping. This is how history has been going over and over again, from the Egyptian empire up until the Soviet Union. It’s only a matter of time.
Seriously man, you are arguing with a bunch of arabs here.. you think you will convince us otherwise? Stop wasting your time and go do something else, go to walmart.
Sabbah, you shouldn’t have deleted James post. How can you expect him to be objective if you are not willing to let him talk. Even if he used “uncouth” language here, people should still read it to construct a better image of who they are listening to. You are only doing him a favour this way.
Peace,
I think we need reasonable people on both sides to condemn the violence. There comes a point where both sides have committed atrocities so horrible (see the picture above) that neither one can claim morality to their cause.
From my point of view (a USA citizen) I think more Americans would be sympathetic to Palistinian’s plight if it weren’t for the horrific acts of terrorism deliberately attacking citizens and unarmed combatants. Americans generally like to root for the underdog. The trouble is it’s psychologically very difficult for Americans to hear the legitimate complaints of Palistinians (and other Arabs) when suicide bombs are being deployed.
You might disagree, but I post with sincerity for better understanding and eventual peace for all sides. Americans are not happy to hear of innocent Arabs and Palistinians killed or maimed - that doesn’t give anyone pleasure. But then someone blows a bomb up in a pizza shop killing teenagers - on purpose! and we forget our sympathy.
Again, you might disagree or not like my analysis, but I believe we all have to reach out to each other from across the divide and try to see from each other’s eyes, and attempt to resolve difficult problems without violence.
Peace. My prayers are with all innocents whose lives are disrupted and in jeapordy in this latest round of senseless violence.
What happened to you sabbah i had not visited your blog in ages and the last time i look you were a moderate and now you seem to be out for blood and wishing haifa be hit.It would be a disater for everyone including the thousands of palestinians in the city
Hasan,
I’ve not deleted a single comment here, it’s just the anti-spam caught few guys who are posting comments from same computer under different names, which the auto anti-spam consider as spam (which is right).
Anyway, I found the comment you are refereeing to and it is recovered now.
Andy,
Where did I wish that Haifa get hit? If not for the innocent Israeli civilians (both Jews and Arab), it’s for peace and just that I would not wish such a thing.
The point is, innocent civilians are killed by the Israeli terrorist every where? in Palestine and now Lebanon… no body cares, and no body say a single word of condemnation, and I mean you and others who support the Israeli terrorists. Only when we voice our condemnation and try to compare if such a thing happens to Israeli, you guys go outrageous and start boiling?
Guys, wake up, it is Israel who is occupying Palestine and parts of Syria and Lebanon. It is Israel who has more than 10 thousand prisoner including children and women, compared to three Israeli terrorist soldiers. And all these have all the right to do whatever they see right to get what the entire world could not get them. Simplest was a condemnation, but even that, U.S. vetos. Who’s the terrorist now?
James,
Since you like bullet points, I’ll use yours, but just replace few words. It will read the same like yours, but will make it sound logic and just (unlike your biased version)
Step 1: return the prisoners kidnapped by Israel. All prisoners!
Step 2: stop attacks on Palestine and Lebanon (later to come, Syria)
Step 3: prevent further terrorist incursions by Israel
Result: Palestine and Lebanon stops their legitimate resistance and live in peace.
Sabbah, Actually Aiyn is right. We long relied on our leaders who are mere puppets of the western world. The only choice we are left with is build our own nations and institutions that safe gaurd our interests and our people. If the governments in the middle east are not willing to do so. Then all the people of the middle east should come together as one based on our principles of islam. He is right The borders have been drawn to weaken us and this only happened after the world war II. If they insist that since they hold the gun, the rule of law is by the cow boys.
Why should we have to obey them. We have never voted them nor recognised their credibility. What i would say is to empower our people. How many people they will shoot. All the civilians stand with out arms in front of their tanks. If one dies, we all shall stand up together. Let them ethnically cleanse us like the NAZI’s have done, like the British , french have done. The world sure didnt start from 18th century that we should abide by the British, Europeans, Jews and Americans
Vince,
I think the pro-Israel media everywhere is enough to dominate the brains of the mass. What the mass really need to see is the victims of Israel Terrorism, as hardly anyone shows that.
On the other hand, be my guest, make your blog and show the Israeli victims, but don’t forget to show Palestinians and Lebanese as well!
you want the israelis to stop killing your people - then get your people stop killing theirs.
at least the israelis are trying to target hizbollah….hizbollah is simply targetting israelis. due to their support of hizbollah the lebanese people have been caught in the middle.
bad move.
hi i have seen these pictures and seen the damage they have done in lebanon.
Shimon Perez attributes the high collateral damage in Lebanon to Hezbollah keeping weapons in homes. No kidding! If the U. S. would give Hezbollah the same help as it gives Israel, Hezbollah could build decent bases to keep it weapons. Israel fighting Hezbollah is akin to cowboys fighting Indians. As Hezbollah has no air force, it may be more like a turkey shoot.
Hezbollah had better pull it’s head out of it’s butt.I was in the armed forces(US)and I pretty much have an idea of what is being sent to Israel weaponwise. But hey if they feel they are being wronged and must fight naked israeli zionist aggression etc etc then go ahead but they had better prepare to catch all types of hell.Don’t shoot some rockets and whine like a little girl when Israeli jets level some neighborhood. If Iran and Syria want to jump in then they can get it too, right in the ass. for supporting them. What that area needs is a big wall where israel and neighboring areas can be separated and truly leave each other alone. If lebabnese want “empowerment” then economic opportunities as well as industries should be created there.Show people how to feed themselves and “come up” economically instead of running behind knuckleheads like hamas and hezbollah who give out false solutions.Join us and become a freedom fighter !!!But since the circle of hate has been created I guess neither sidewill leave each other alone unless a third party intercedes and makes them.
