Ali in conjunction with the graphic pictures on this page that
would be an understatement. The real problem is that these
children ‘israeli children signing bombs, Lebanese children
killed in the bombings’ are paying debts they do not owe. They
are being taught to hate and hurt. Desensitized to the horrors
of the bombs. The repercussions for the foolish acts should be
visited upon the heads of the leaders who created the acts.
Until such time there will be no change. I recall an old story
passed down to the women in Native American circles. A long
time ago two tribes were feircely warring. Young warriors were
dieing on both sides. Women becoming widows early in life got
fed up with the losses. There was a meeting held between the
women of both sides. They decided to inform the men that until
such time as fighting ended they would refuse to receive their
warring husbands in the tee pee at night. Inside of a week there
was a truce. I think the women need to be respected and heard.
Women do not use violence as an end. Some need listen to mothers
who bare the soul wrenching loss that wars heap upon them.

Repercussions for foolish acts are rarely pleasant.
Perhaps the leadership of the Palestinian territory will be questioned now by their constituents (those who, for some reason, chose to vote them into power).

Are the people of the Palestinian territory better of with this irratic and delusional group at the helm?

One wonders if such questions are ever asked aloud there…

For all I know, Syria has been showing great signs of restraint for decades now. In the calculation of all the folks defending Israel today, such restraint must be commendable, no?

This is an outright attack on civilians by Israel.
They have broken so many rules of the Geneva Convention.
Bolton, you are an asshole. Bush, you are an asshole.
Israel, get the hell out of Gaza and Lebanon. Also, release the women and children.
The US had better listen to the International Community before EVERYONE hates them.

Another added to the many reasons what Arab ‘leaders’ should consider before bowing to the US and israel again..but who’s kidding whom?! Arab leaders have been stripped from anything that relates to dignity a very long time ago. Instead of proposing a resolution that surely had the fate of being rejected, the Arabs could have given a much more significant message by actually condemning the latest themselve…and actually that’s the least they could’ve done! They have no shame! I seriously have no idea how they can actually show their faces in public and call themselves leaders – heads of states! and what’s even worst is how the people idolize them and don’t dare to utter a single word that begins to speak of their disappointment and outrage (if any!)…to the people: have no fear…your leaders are nothing but mere puppets! AbdelNaser is turning in his grave right now!

James, and all it requires is just one step to release the kidnapped soldier
1) Release Palestinian Women and children prisoners in israeli jails!

Ah James, you’re right; one should always ask who started.

Here’s what one Israeli thinks. [LINK]

Israel currently has held on for years to Palestinian, Lebanes and Jordanian citizens that it kidnapped in similar fashion. Most of them civilians. They even have women and children. Literally children.

Yet no one made a fuss about that.

In addition, Israel has never reacted so strongly even during the worst incidents of civilian Israeli casualties. But Israel is responding now because what Hamas and Hizbullah did forms a precident: the targetting of Israeli soldiers; perfectly legitimate military targets of a country that maintains military occupation of Palestine and Syria and still parts of southern Lebanon like the Shab’a Farms. The prospect of resistance in Palestine and Lebanon transforming its image from that of a side that applies terrorist tactics to one that is perceived legitimately in the world is frightening. And this is why Israel wants to cut the road to that short.

Because Israel prospers on the sympathy of the world to it in responce to terrorism.

I can’t do anything here in my country either but I am joining you and others in one big F**K to John Bolton, the uber neoconservative who is my country’s puppet for Israel. This will have far-reaching affects as to the safety of Americans and NO ONE gives a flying F**K accept to do the Zionists bidding. Some of us here ABHOR our support of Israel and not just because it’s not good policy for us, but rather it is not good policy for HUMANITY. Currently, my boiling point is at an all time high. This is INSANITY and I would just like to say to all my Arab friends, I am so very very sorry for this expected veto to have been cast. I am very ashamed to be an American citizen today just as I am on most days. God bless Palestine.

I wonder what King Hussein (Allah yer7amo) would have done in this situation. He always managed to get his people and the Palestinians what they want in difficult situations.

I don’t believe I have ever been as enraged by the situation with Israel as I am right now, and I don’t believe I have ever been as frustrated with my leadership in Jordan as I am frustrated and disapointed right now.

Why are we in normalized relations with Israel? Why are we betraying our brothers for these terrorists?

How many in Jordan have agreed to selling their dignity for safety from the bullies in Israel?

Well I can’t do anything, but I’m definitely not gonna stay silent.
