To Israelis whom I know that they believe me more than their stupid officials… starting from tonight and after your army aggression on Beirut, be informed that our missiles will hit Haifa, and beyond Haifa, and beyond what's beyond Haifa. I declare it open war starting from tonight. And as I promised, I have surprises for you, look at the warship that is hitting Beirut, look at it now, it is burning and sinking and all who are abroad are dead.
This is going to be a rocky journey.

Yet another irratic, emotional and ultimately foolish move.
War has now been declared against Israel.
There will be no allowences made for those who once declared "victim" status.
War is war and those who are eager to jump into it, for the sake of theatrical chest-beating rarely fail to regret it.
Sure, some might have bought the "we are victims of aggression" line yesterday (despite evidence to the contrary) , but today Israel has an iron-clad declaration and act of war behind which to stand as their bombs fall.
What a simple-minded and short-sighted maneuver.

CNN here is giving only one sided news. It is saying that israel has knocked out this that. What about the casualties on the side of Israel. You are the only reliable source and call up on the correspondents from Al-manar Television to transmit image of the downed ship.
I think Israel is going to be surprised as to how much Hizb'Allah has in store.

I think it is obvious that Israel is the one who wants to escalate the violence into a war, and it shows you just how serious they're going to be perceived in the future when they cry "but all we wanted was peace".
Israel is very much capable of responding to the killing and capturing of Israeli soldiers on Israeli terretories, by killing and captruing Hizballah fighters on Lebanese land.
However, what did Israel choose to do? They chose to kill innocent Lebanese civilians.
It's clear now that Israel is in no war on terrorism, otherwise it would be at war with itself. Israel is simply drunk with its military power and wants to prove to the world that it can do whatever it wants, and get away with it. It's the same arrogant attitude that Israelies have been showing for decades since the establishment of their country.
I think the only thing that's going to be learnt from this, is that no peace agreements can ever protect civilian populations in the Middle East. The only thing that would protect civilians is establishing a balance of military power. Countries surrounding Israel must eventually be armed to the point that Israel can no longer use its force in this manner without fearing serious consequences.
Officials say Israel has been planning this agression for five years now, and used the kidnaping of their soliders as an excuse to get on with their plan. Even they admit that the kidnapings had no significance in this already so well-planned attack.
Yes, Ali it may have been an emotional, irratic jump into chaos but Lebanon and Palestine don't have five more years to plan their defense because Israel is attacking NOW. May I remind you the death toll of Palestinians/Lebanese to Israelis? Only today 92 Lebanese "civilians" dead over 200 injured, while Israel's number is 17 dead and around 100 injured!!! That was todays toll, what was yesterdays the day before, and what will be tomorrows? If no one took a move then the numbers will get larger on our side and Israel will still be the "poor little thing" trying to defend themselves against those bloody terrorists like Hamas Hizbollah and what not, since very soon the whole middle east and every muslim will be called that name!

It is worth it. As you said, the destruction machine of the terrorist army of Israel is much huger and cause more damage than Hezbollah does in Israel.
While I wish no harm for any civilian on both sides, however since it is war, we have no option but to stand by those under fire and support them.
Destroying a warship and killing even one Israeli solider is something that those people under occupation are not used to hear, so I understand their reasons to celebrate it.
As I said before, in this war, and under existing condition, no doubt that Israel is going to create more damage, but it will sooner or later end, and they will negotiate with Hezbollah. So, why doing all this in first place?
As Hamzeh and others said above, Israel is just practicing what they were planning to do long time ago. It has nothing to do with the PoW.

That is exactly what your peoples are upto, and we as Muslims will never let our Islam down, we will never let you "extinct" us all. You are just one of your people who said it openly, and I wish the whole world could just see that "sick" phrase of yours.
We need to identify all potential organization acting against our interests. If it is an all out war so be it. Israeli and American Terrorist funding organizations, NGO's, people working for it. We need to create a complete list of Western sponsored terrorism organizations. Their funding sources and strike at their economic interests, their military and nuclear installation if they harm our civilian. They are justifying ethnic cleansing of the muslims. Izzy says that a world without muslims is a better place. The same ideology is of Mr. Bush, Blair and other Western allies. There should be coordinated strike against all their installation in all parts of the world if they have openly declared war against all the muslims around the world.
I do not think that Nigel Featherston ("Izzy") means to suggest that Muslims should be exterminated, rather that Islam should be done away with.
You might disagree with that sentiment, but please be aware of what your are disagreeing with.
He is essentially suggesting that the world would be better of without Islam and he is using the examples of increased Middle East violence compared to relative peace in more Christian nations to back his idea.
From what I read, it's not about the people, just about their philosophy.
Please leave Islam, Jews and Christians out of the equations!
It is radicals of these religions that are the problem.
The Zionists, the fundamentalists and the "I don't know what to call the radicals of the extreeme christian churches" that are the problem.
If you step back and look, you will see that these religions are very much alike.

It would be better to suggest that "You will never CONVERT us all" or (even better) "You will never UNBRAINWASH us all".
Your use of "extinct" is hyperbolic, I'm afraid.

Muslimah, relegion is Ideology and only partly fact and philosophy is completey fact. Philosophy is reality and relegions are wishes and dreams. The problem is, when these dreams become nightmares like in the case with all these jihad brigades and the hisbollah! I think Izzy knows what he is talking about and he is genuine and polite! Please wake up and fight the nightmares!
well mimi, I wish it were a nightmare to just wake up from, and have everything back to "normal," what ever normal would be since in my life time this is all have been through "war."
The reality is that I have been pushed out of my home, seen my family die infront of my eyes, and never been given the chance to live!
And this was taken away from me, and I'm not the only one, from people who have the "ideology" of izzy and even you who supports him. WHY did they do this to us? Because we are Muslims!

Religion can never be Philosophy, if you believe in God, and there is only one God! Philosophy is ideology based on facts to come up with new "ideas." Religion is FACT; you can not change what has been written to make it "more ture." People have been rewrriting the Bible to suit their "ideas" perhaps that is where you people get confused!

Look I understand Izzy's rant but he is thinking thru the prism of the Western media complex. The truth is that yes religion rides the back of many of these conflicts but if tomorrow everyone in Palestine and Lebannon was secular the Israelis would still NOT change. The issue is colonialism and control. They seek to dominate and deny.
