Black and While
So, it’s been almost a week since I published the photos that pissed off many, shamed other, blessed little and stormed others.
More than 4 million hits in 5 days came to this page. Some visitors left comments, other trackback/pingback, etc… Most important is that I left that post open to all good guys as well ‘bad guys’. A lot of constructive comments, even if we don’t agree with them or they don’t agree with us, but you can find great stuff, yet a lot of noise, ranting, racist and scrap that should not have been allowed to be published in comments. However, because of the highly emotional and sensitive moment that was raised by these pictures, I left it open even for hatred comments from both side (I only deleted a couple of comments on early day due to vulgar words use).
As I said somewhere else, it just proves that we all are alike. We have seen some moderates, extremist, brainless, smart asses, idiots, the brilliant, the ignorant, friends, enemies, etc… from both sides, in fact from all around the world. This is another proof that they are not better than what we are and visa versa. We all have ‘Black and While.’
Anyway, I don’t blame anyone, but it’s my turn to say ‘Stop that Shit.‘
Therefore, all comments are moderated now until further notice. And please save your time as well mine and don’t complain if your comment gets deleted or never published!!!

Another good post Haitham, but with all due respect are you really sure that we are “all alike”? … You preceded this and followed it with words that delineated how different we are. Would you really equate Uri Avnery with Menachem Begin? Mustafa Barghouti with Sheikh Yassin? Your holy Prophet with Usama bin Ladin? forgive me for presuming Haitham, but I think not!
Forgiveness and seeing what unites us rather than divides us is great and essential if we are to get along in this world, but broad “fuzzy” nice sounding phrases like this are usually fundmentally untrue, and acheive nothing!
Keep up the good work Haitham … and good luck with the BBC thing!

I think moderation is just fine, sabbah, so long as it doesn’t mean removing any comment that disagree’s with, or respondes in like too your opinion or another’s poster’s comment.
It is the falt of UNO. They should solve this problem.
