Sabbah, I need your immediate attention on this video at the end of the video there seems to be some pronographic links. The crooks might have placed it. Do Something immediately

This is exactly the "root cause" that Bush was talking about.

You know, this probably isn't the best thing to give wide circulation to.

Ted Pike is a classic anti-Semite, as his attack on the Da Vinci Code as a Jewish conspiracy demonstrates (http://www.truthtellers.org/alerts/behinddavinci.html).

    Thx, Aiyn!

I've found a copy of the same video at Goggle so replaced the metacafe one.

The way you rushed to ditch Metacafe video server after I mentioned it's Israeli, yet still keep the video up after Ron Starr gave you a link proving its creator is a certified nut/bigot, is priceless :)

    Nir,

I removed it not because of your smart note, but because few here and over email complained that at the clip end there is links to porn stuff, which does not fit here.

May be if you focus on the content of the video, you might learn something new about the history of the conflict, rather than wasting your time and hours telling us where it is hosted and who are the creators.

BTW, I didn't tell you that I have very good friends Jews and Israelis did I? It is bad that you think that anyone and everyone who criticize you is your enemy!

    Thanks for the complements!

Haitham, you are right, the film does raise some pertinent points. However I feel that Ron has a point too. Ted Pike is a rampant anti-semitic "nut-job" who it is not good to be associated with in any way. The Palestinian cause is so strong, it really doesn't need people like that to defend it!

I feel there are many important, interesting and valid points, and facts, often unacknowledged due to fear of being sucked into anti-semetism or accused of it. The problem I see is being draw in, and associated with anti-semetism can cause one to be discounted as a valued source of information to much of the world.

I think this video is interesting as a counter point to the far-right eveangelicals and extreme-Zionist, because they both use the bible and ancient scriptures to bolster their arguements.
I've always thought it is interesting how some on the far-right can go overboard in supporting Israel, and others far-right extremist are anti-semetic (and racist). Many religious fanatics ('christian') pick out passages (out of context???)from Muslim writngs - the Koran etc. and use them to demonstrate the supposed "hatefulness" of that religion. So I think we need to get beyond these religious arguements on both sides. although they are somewhat interesting.
Let's focus on fairness, and hold people in Israel to the same accountability that we would any people. The US should push for justice because we support them,, but WOW, it's just so much…. similar in many ways as to what happened to the Native Americans. They still face hard consditions of course but not as horid as Palestine.
I almost wish there could be another version without as much of the religious rhetoric, but just the secular FACTS!!! the modern history and current conditions, as objectively presented as possible. Unfortunately many people will not watch most of it, they will nit-pick some point and then discount it. I see that happening a lot.
The water issue alone is just so unforgivably wrong!!! this was a major point in the 'Wall of Hate' video as well.
The outrageous and cruel actions are mind boggling. It is hard not to become paralyzed. I can abosolutely see why people see Hezbollah and Hamas as heros. They are fighting against so great odds, in a very desperate way.
We have to fight terror, with honesty and fairness, and by fighting these unexceptable conditions that have promoted it. We have to fight it iwith humanitarian aide, and by promoting more fair conditions and practices. Sure it seems impossible, but it is also impossible to wipe out terrorism by killing thousands of people.
OH-oh at the end, I know I would strongly disagree with some of their ideas and goals. I am a strong supporter of anti-discrimination and hate laws, and not anti-semetic. How ironic when most of the problems in the movie are due to discrimination, greed and HATE, they do promote their own version. Again it is unfortunate that some use ligitimate and horendous problems to advance their own sometimes twisted agendas.
Even more unfortunate that the valid facts presented here, will be ingnored or dismissed by many because of their other dubious agendas.

Excellent post Jaci, but I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there are literally hundreds of movies like this, made from 1948 onward, and without any Antisemitist agenda, some of the best of them have been by Jewish filmamkers! The only thing is, every time a broadcaster sees fit to broadcast one of them, they are besieged with hate messages which go along the lines of "Worst piece of Antisemitism since the Shoah", this is usually followed with hordes of Zionist demonstrators outside their door waving placards emblazoned with Swastikas etc etc until the broadcasters simply stop showing them, and they return to obscurity.

    You have a valid point. also as most of you likely know;
The PNAC…has close ties to Likud and other right-wing Israeli parties.
    http://thinkprogress.org/2006/07/17…middle-east-war
    Quote:
"Richard Perle, Douglas Feith and David Wurmser (all later senior officials in the Bush administration) had a plan for how to destroy Hezbollah: Invade Iraq. They wrote a report to the newly elected Likud government in Israel calling for ?a clean break? with the policies of negotiating with the Palestinians and trading land for peace.
The problem could be solved ?if Israel seized the strategic initiative along it northern borders by engaging Hizballah (sic), Syria, and Iran, as the principal agents of aggression in Lebanon.? The key, they said, was to ?focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq ?" Their plan seems back on track.
another older aritcle that relates: http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0%2C3604%2C1036571%2C00.html
I feel the most important thing I can do for my world currently, is to work to help restore our democracy, because Bush was never elected by the majority of the people here. We do not have verifiable and/or fair national elections in the USA. It isn't the answer to everything, but a step in the right direction. (not the far-right)
