Podcast: Hizbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Thursday Hezbollah guerrillas would fire rockets at Tel Aviv if Israel attacked central Beirut.
"If you strike Beirut, the Islamic Resistance will strike Tel Aviv and it is able to do so," Nasrallah said.
"(If) at any time you decide to stop your campaigns on our cities, suburbs, civilians and infrastructure, we won't strike with rockets any settlement or Israeli city …" he said.
"You can't destroy Hizbollah … because the resistance is not a classic army or a regular state …" he said. "The resistance is a people who has the belief, the will and who loves martyrdom.
"The resistance will not be broken, the resistance will not be defeated."
"The Israeli army is a giant machine that is blind, stupid and incapable," he said.
"I assure (you that) whatever the results of the war, Lebanon won't be American and Lebanon won't be Israeli and Lebanon won't be one of the bases for the 'new Middle East' which George Bush wants and which Condoleezza Rice wants," he said.

the reality of this whole episode is that the arabs will fail.
when israel is backed into a corner, they will use the atom bomb in their arsenal. any arab country neighboring israel who is part of the "gang" will be anniliated.
arab countries should not be so stubborn. let israel live. ..or neither will.

Haitham, might be we should start teaching our children that they should kill themselves, the white people only have the right to live. Just like the way we are taught since our childhood that white means good and black means bad. Wanting to know what is being said by ALL I searched the internet yesterday looking for an English translation of Nasrallah's speech or an English transcript. All I could find were articles, not complete translations. Is anyone aware of a complete translation?
I thought CNN might have the video clip of it with the translation like they usually air them with translations. Guess what link was at the top of the list for links on the CNN site for the speech,

During war mistakes tend to happen, civilians tend to die. I must say Hezbollah or the "resistance" is partly to blame for this massacre. They are attacking from civilian areas, I've watched video evidence shown on BBC and CNN.
I do wonder, if Hezbollah had nuclear weapons or smart bombs if Israel would survive. It would be another holocaust! I don't believe any arab states would have let Israel survive if they had the ability to destroy it. Israel on the other hand has the ability to destroy its neighbours but chooses not to. This is one of the reasons many westerners like myself rally behind Israel. Many Israelis have clearly said they just want to be left alone from the constant threat of suicide bombers and now rocket attacks.
I can't think of a country that would sit silently when its soldiers are kidnapped and its civilians are deliberately targeted. I wouldn't be surprised if this never gets published but Its always good to see both sides of the story.
I'm upset at what Israel is doing. But can someone explain why Muslims are marching against Israel for killing civilians while holding Hezbollah flags and calling on them to send missiles to Tel Aviv? Are they only upset at Muslim deaths, but Jewish lives don't matter? Is the Muslim world really so racist and evil?
I was really shocked when i saw Israeli girls signing the bombs…i couldn't hold my tears when I saw the pictures of those little children who have fallen victim to this terrible war…my heart goes out to all those who have lost their loved ones in this war…i've experinced war…my childhood was all spent in fear and terror…so i understand how they feel…"nasro men allah wa fahton ghareeb"
