I’m upset at what Israel is doing. But can someone explain why Muslims are marching against Israel for killing civilians while holding Hezbollah flags and calling on them to send missiles to Tel Aviv? Are they only upset at Muslim deaths, but Jewish lives don’t matter? Is the Muslim world really so racist and evil?

During war mistakes tend to happen, civilians tend to die. I must say Hezbollah or the “resistance” is partly to blame for this massacre. They are attacking from civilian areas, I’ve watched video evidence shown on BBC and CNN.
I do wonder, if Hezbollah had nuclear weapons or smart bombs if Israel would survive. It would be another holocaust! I don’t believe any arab states would have let Israel survive if they had the ability to destroy it. Israel on the other hand has the ability to destroy its neighbours but chooses not to. This is one of the reasons many westerners like myself rally behind Israel. Many Israelis have clearly said they just want to be left alone from the constant threat of suicide bombers and now rocket attacks.
I can’t think of a country that would sit silently when its soldiers are kidnapped and its civilians are deliberately targeted. I wouldn’t be surprised if this never gets published but Its always good to see both sides of the story.

listin this is to everyone, that thinks israel is bad.
israel is doing what they have to do, if israel does not do this than more and more ppl will die. israel is not only protecting themself but everyone in this world. its sad that most ppl dont the the reality. ppl think that israel can just stop. but if israel stops, that does not mean hezzbala will. this is not a fight for ruthless killing. its a fight for safty fro israel, lebanon and the whole world

Wanting to know what is being said by ALL I searched the internet yesterday looking for an English translation of Nasrallah’s speech or an English transcript. All I could find were articles, not complete translations. Is anyone aware of a complete translation?
I thought CNN might have the video clip of it with the translation like they usually air them with translations. Guess what link was at the top of the list for links on the CNN site for the speech,
you guessed it, Sabbah’s blog!! But it’s Arabic and I’m still at a loss. Anyone?

This is how the news was reported in News York times (3/8/06). There is no menion of the most important part of the sentence “IF YOU STRIKE BEIRUT”. As for Israel’s response to destrying Lebanon’s infrastructure, it must have been a cruel joke. Is there infrastructure left in Lebanon to destroy
