Arundhati Roy on the Palestinian / Israeli Conflict

by Haitham Sabbah on August 5, 2006

This is a fast-paced 64 minute documentary that covers the world politics of power, war, corporations, deception and exploitation.

It visualizes the words of Arundhati Roy, specifically her famous Come September speech, where she spoke on such things as the war on terror, corporate globalization, justice and the growing civil unrest.

Witty, moving, alarming and quite a lesson in modern history.

The entire video (titled "We…") is available online for free at: www.weroy.org

Today it is everyone’s duty to inform people who are being brainwashed by the western media about the genosides and crimes of Zionists. Lets define terrorism and see who is the real terrorist.

This is one of the most inciteful films I have ever viewed.
Thank you Arundhati for saying, “The American way of life is nonsustainable because it does not recognize that there is a way of life beyond America” This film should be shown to every single American citizen before giving them their own personal opportunity to live the lives of those whom it oppresses. The lies which the Bush administration and past administrations have sold to my country are at their very base evil. To say that we are hated for our freedoms while it is we who perpetuate oppression is hypocracy. In order to sustain our way of life, we must take others freedoms from them. As the gap between rich and poor grows wider, as the Hummers drink the gas, the mansion-style houses multiply and the programs helping the poor decrease, we further distance ourselves from the humanity which our creator intended for us to live. As we spread our corporations at the ends of guns and wage war to conquer war, we distance ourselves even further. God bless you Arundhati for your message of truth.
“There are none blinder than those who refuse to see”.

Robin,
Bush doesn’t lie.
He believes in what he says.
This is even more scarier than what is happening in Lebanon and in Gaza.
He believes in the Rapture that will happen soon.
God, help us now!
Is his God better than the Muslim God?
NO!
But his church tells him so!
This is the most radical president in years who is using his god for his own personal reasonans to further his cause.
Personal views. Thank God there is no god.
