Lebanon Fog of War

by Haitham Sabbah on August 11, 2006

Robin thinks that of all the videos she has seen, this is the best yet. As I trust her choices, I'm sharing it here:

Thanks, Robin.

I couldn’t view it all. It hurt too much.
How can Bush have a smirk on his face when he talks about civilian deaths in Lebanon?
Iran is the problem because they supply ancient rockets.
What about the US supplying the most modern weapons to Israel?
These weapons will continue the occupations!
IDF! No it is IOF!
Olmert’s line of, “I feel sorry for civilian losses”.
This is his line for excuses for the media catching the Israeli mistakes.
Olmert, you are a FUCK UP! You kill innocent civilians to promote your political causes.
This has nothing to do with peace, this has everything to do with your political posturing.
Keep killing innocents and you and the US will be the most hated countries in the world!
I guess this will be a new Guinness Book of Records for you!
Enjoy!

Bush seeks political gains from plot.

It all boggles down to political gains. This is a major covert operation to justify and rally support of diminishing public support and polls. Thanks Mr.Bush and Mr. Blair, if you were so sure, why dont you put these people on record live with out editing. Let the suspects speak for themselves.

After few days, we would see the british government saying they were innocent as it has been earlier. This is only mere false propaganda.

This is terrible!!
But why did it happen? Why Hizbulla continued to fight Israel for years after it backed from ALL Lebanese teritory? What example it gives for future potential peace in the Middle East?

- Shebaa farms is Syrian territory not Lebanese. And the Syrians do not want it. So before Israel could give it “back” to Lebanon, Syria would have to tell the UN that it allows that, which Assad is not willing to do. So why Hizbulla does all this fight for the “Shebaa Farms”? No reason, just excuse for war.

- I do not confirm with the all actions of the Israelis and I can understand very well if somebody calls it disproportionate use of force. Tell me one thing: What other country would let rockets be fired onto its territory for years, bombs planted in its embassies and its soldier taken kidnapped from international recognized border (according to the UN Charter it is an act of war) without any kind of response. How do you think Irael should have responded?

- Hizblulla wants this war and doesn’t care one bit for Lebanon. They fight for one goal – to eliminate Israel, and no war will end until Israel is gone from the map of the Middle East!! If that’s what you agree to, then be prepared for war like this one for ever. If you don’t want it, then think again.

- The Lebanese thought and bahaved as if Hezbulla and all south of Lebanon is just an israeli problem to which the have no responsibility. They go to clubs an casinos in Beirut and “cannot control Hizbulla”. Well, maybe now they do care.

- Do you care for why Sunnis and Shias blow 100 of each other a day in Iraq for no clear reason? Or that’s just fine because its done by muslim brothers?

- You glorify martyrdom, and suddenly its not so much fun? Its only fun when the martyrs blow up Israeli public buses?

Thanks Robin for giving us the chance to see this video. I hope Mr. Bush could see it and see the new generation of terrorists he is creating with this violence. I wonder how would he feel if he lost someone close in such a way! Thanks Mr. Bush for this new school of terrorism because for someone who has lost 3 or 4 memebers of his family in such a bad way there will be nothing for him to live for other than REVENGE! :(

We keep blaming Hizbollah.
They were created by the occupation of Lebanon by the Israelis.
There are a lot of Palestinians who were displaced by Israelis in Hizbollah.
What comes around, goes around.
