Israeli Soldier in Bil’in, Palestine: “This is Lebanon!”

They lost it in Lebanon, now they are going to retaliate and take revenge on Palestinian and their Supporters!

Israeli activists with International Solidarity Movement (ISM) have uploaded a video of the shooting of Lymor and the initial violence of the Israeli military in Bil’in on Friday, August 11th.

The Israeli army and Border Police brutally prevented Bil’in’s weekly non-violent demonstration, by firing rubber bullets and sound grenades on protestors as they marched through the village on their way to the Apartheid wall. Fourteen people from Bil’in, Israelis and internationals, have been injured, including an Israeli, Lymar, in critical condition who was shot on neck and just above his right ear with 3 rubber bullets at close range. He has had surgery at Tel Hashomer hospital to remove a rubber bullet that was lodged in his skull. Currently he is in a medical induced coma in moderate but stable condition, but has sustained brain damaged of unknown severity.

Another demonstrator from Denmark, Rina, has suffered a fracture in her skull and brain contusion after a soldier beat her with the butt of his gun. She is currently hospitalized in Hebron, West Bank and is conscious but unable to walk. She was also beaten on her legs and sustained minor injuries.

This video was added to You Tube one week ago. It is a graphic video of Apache helicopters firing on a group of non violent marchers in Rafah. You can see that none of these marchers were armed and that the attack came from the sky and then from IOF forces on the ground. Warning, this is an extremely violent video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOu-NT0W2eg

    Here is another film of a protest last year in Safa showing the IOF breaking it up and beating the unarmed protestors;
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xEApSnFPIA&NR

I was given this quote yesterday by John McCarthy, an American who faced horrendous charges of court martial, won, and now is an outspoken critic of the US and Israel. “It is dangerous to be right when your government is wrong.” Voltaire

Israel is the occupier, the defacto government of Palestine. Cannot peaceful people even gather in protest without such things happening to them? LOOK and see these pictures America, your tax dollars are going to support this brutality. All you Americans that think we should continue to support this Zionist state I have some questions to ask you, have you viewed these videos to see what happens in the occupied territories? Have you done any at all research into what the daily life of a Palestinian is like?
Have you even considered the possibility that what you believe when you support Israel is based on biased media reports and out and out lies? Please America, I am your citizen also as are many many others who do not support these actions in Palestine or Lebanon. Listen for once with open minds to what these people are suffering and search deep into your hearts and tell them that it is still right. You CANNOT!!

Nice to stumble upon this fine site!
About the aggression by Israel -
it’s not given to us to judge ourselves personally whether we win
or lose; but we relish every reality on the ground that we try
our best so that the mightiest military machine
may never “dismantle” the “[s.]abr” of our resistance
and never break the “iman” of our “ummah”.
    I am reminded of Qur’an: surah 2, ayat 214; and surah 110.

    Regards and all best wishes

thanks to our neighbors, israelis have had to change their behavior in order to account for the history of violence, aggression and repression that arab states serve to their own people. take a look at the Jewish track record for progressive thinking, and you’ll find that we are the most progressive, enlightened and sensitive group in the world. FUCK THE ISM. I attended one of their meetings, and they do not differentiate between terrorists and civilians, and they also condone violence and have assisted with suicide bombings in Mike’s Cafe. FUCK THIS WEBSITE AND FUCK THE ISM.

    darkone,

Maybe you should be called “Dracula.” You see, dehumanizing the victims and glorifying the aggressor is not an normal human being behavior.

I’m glad that this blog has made you feel uneasy. Maybe, just maybe, one day you will remember that what you said here is irrational and that you were wrong. Israel and Zionism, on everyone’s scale is the worst sin in mankind history. Jewish “progressive thinking” does not cross the minds of its thinkers. Instead, crimes and terrorism is the only ever lasting “progressive” agenda of Zionism.

PS. I could have deleted your comment before it was published, period! But I enjoy showing the world from time to time, the kind of mentality that Palestinians have to face day after day (ISM too).
