Lessons learned... Only one and in very short:
33 days of aggression on Lebanon by the Terrorist State of Israel. They have used all the weapons and artillery you might think of and might not think of. Cluster bombs, depleted Uranium, just name it…
Israel claimed that they are going to war to return their two prisoners of war; however, their aggression was way beyond what one could imagine. It had nothing to do with the PoW; it is a Terrorist State that can’t live but on blood of others.
Unlike Olmert, Sayyed Nasrallah promised and fulfilled his promises; VICTORY!
What did Israel gain from this war? NIL. Except for the massacres they committed all over Lebanon and the destruction of Lebanese Southern villages and other cities all around Lebanon. Locally, Israel gained nothing but death, destruction, horror and billions of dollars lost (which the American tax payer will pay for). Not to forget the fall of the legendary army which lost so many lives from its terrorist soldiers and terror machinery, more than the worst predictions could have said.
O' Israel you have lost! Congratulations...

To the viewer and Muslims around the globe.
The lesson here, is we should be PREPARED FOR THE ENEMY IS PREPARED TO ELIMINATE OUR VERY EXISTENCE OUR AWAY OF LIFE; COLONISE OR OCCUPY OUR NATIONS.
We should be much stronger and vigilant and should prepare ourselves to face the challenges until we are far stronger than these bunch of mosquitoes and some alien nations, in the europe, U.S.
Arab league and other nations should promote a joint cooperation on military and invest in science. We call upon the arab league of nation, to ask for a single unified command to confront NATO and U.S and other allied armies. We should include Pakistan within the arab league of nations. Promote free access to muslims around the globe to participate and contribute for science and technology. We should also encourage muslim nations for free trade agreements. Our reliance on western nations should be drastically decreased.
We should call upon all the governments in the middle east to invest in nuclear research technologies and other technologies to safegaurd against Attrocities such as lebanon and Palestine.
Lest lebanon is a wakeup call for all the muslims around the world. it is a final warning that if you dont wakeup now, you will end up like RED INDIANS or African nations.
To all the leaders of the middle east. There are numerous scholars, in the western world, who are willing to contribute to our societies. Numerous have approached the authorities. And this is an open plea by some scholars to mobilise the resources now immediately to setup a joint command and control centre for protecting our border and our interests to confront any aggression against any of our territories.

I don’t know how can you call “victory” to a situation where many people have lost their lives.
Once I thought you are a peace seeking person.
I hope you will come to your senses and see this tragic situation as it is.

Freedom is victory. Defeating your enemy is victory. Stopping the terrorist army of Israel from shelling civilians is victory. Pushing the Israeli army out from occupied land is victory. War is tragic, but if one is enforced to be in it, then one has to fight his fight, no regret!
Haitham. Please the problem with our generation is that they just get carried away by a mere tactical retreat. There is clear and present danger for our existence for our futures for our future generation. What gaurantee can you or muslim leaders give that we shall not see another ethnic cleansing of palestinians and lebaneese.
Have we still achieved our palestinian territories from the israeli occupiers? Have we ruled out the dictate of the United States, U.K and other nations from defining our futures.
Please sabbah, we should not gaily celebrate the past and present without worrying about what future is in store for us. Please do not let our people to live in shades of darkness. We need to be overcautious since lest there will be more lebanons like these. There are more than 1000 civilians dead in our land. Millions of homes lost, million of our people displayed and living as refugee.
My heart cries for every civilian we lost for every brother and sister we lost.

Lebanon–wonderful, diverse, fun-loving, liberal Lebanon–is now closer to becoming ruled by a theocratic organization which does not brook opposition.
Such is the stuff of victories in the land of mirages.
So what is the solution? Is a two state solution a way out? Your site seems to offer only a kill or be killed solution. Then you cry about people being killed. Jews must die and be pushed into the sea but we do not expect them to fight back. How dumb. Here is what you do not understand in the end when your side has better wepons like it is getting from Iran, Israel’s responce will be greater when you attack. This time you missed clearly what the US told Israel. Good old condi said use moderate force and they did. Next time they will roll though killing everything in their path. Do you understand why so few were killed in this war? A 1000 people hell thats the murder rate in one US city in a year. It is safer to live in Lebanon for a month while Israel bombs then to spend the year in Chicago. Next time the US will not hold them back. You asked what they accomplished? They reminded the government of Lebanon that there is a price to pay when you attack another country. Peace and two states are the only solutions. Embrace it or millions will die. Stop Iran they will only lead to millions dieing and most will be in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon. Both Israel and Iran will use the other areas to fight their battles. Some day try to figure out who your friends are and what is important. Until then keep posting one sided things that will lead to no where but death.
