IDF general: Troops lacking food can steal from Lebanese stores

“If our fighters deep in Lebanese territory are left without food our water, I believe they can break into local Lebanese stores to solve that problem,” Brigadier General Avi Mizrahi, the head of the Israel Defense Forces logistics branch, said Monday.
Mizrahi’s comments followed complaints by IDF soldiers regarding the lack of food on the front lines.
“If what they need to do is take water from the stores, they can take,” Mizrahi told Army Radio.
According to Mizrahi, the logistics branch is prepared for the possibility that combat soldiers will have to remain in Lebanon during the winter.

* During war time ALL armies in occupying positions may requisition supplies from the local civillian population. This includes the use of homes, civillian buildings, food, medicine and other - non-combat related supplies. It is standard - not illegal and not theft.
* Don’t worry…. You will be generously repaid at a later date. Just like all those who lost their land, houses and possessions in 1948. You can trust in Israel.
They stole more than food from stores, so, what difference will it make if they steal more… just for living… you know… as usual!!!

They have destroyed a country in the name of self defence!

The Arab league should know enforce a joint declaration to enforce sanctions against military shipments of WMD to israel using land, water or their air spaces.
Ït should start thinking of a broader coalition of like NATO and a rapid action force to confront any aggression in any part of its territories.
The threat of america in middle east, in iraq and afghanistan. should be confronted lest there shall be devastations from pakistan to egypt.
the bush adminstration is now working with the indian government to mobilise a senior such as the lebaneese case and israeli aggression. Indian diplomats are pondering all possible consequences and devising a plan. this might be there at any instant, there is green light from u.s.
This would weak the whole islamic world with know weapons.
