wired.com has an interesting article titled "One Million Ways to Die", in which Ryan talks about the billions spent by the U.S. government since 9/11 on anti-terrorism projects. The U.S. Admin also instituted a color-coded alert system that has never been green!
But then he asks: how likely are you, statistically speaking, to die from a terrorist attack?
The conclusion was:
"Comparing official mortality data with the number of Americans who have been killed inside the United States by terrorism since the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma reveals that scores of threats are far more likely to kill an American than any terrorist -- at least, statistically speaking.
In fact, your appendix is more likely to kill you than al-Qaida is.
With that in mind, here's a handy ranking of the various dangers confronting America, based on the number of mortalities in each category throughout the 11-year period spanning 1995 through 2005 (extrapolated from best available data)."
Well, I'm not surprised with this.
Anyway, if this is not interesting enough, look at the following amazing graph of how U.S. income tax gets spent.

http://thebudgetgraph.com, houses this huge visual representation of how the US federal government spends Americans income taxes. Not only does it show the amount spent on each item, but it also shows the percentage change from last year so you can see what is emphasized.
Again, I was not surprised to find out the 2007 Federal Discretionary Budget to be 983 Billion Dollars. The budget is divided into Military and Non-Military. For Military it is 632 Billion (increase by 64%) and for Non-Military it is 350 Billion (increase by 36%).
Ok, now that explains why you might die by flu!!!
Not yet enough surprises? Ok. See the red-circled part in the above graph? Details are as follows:
Yes, Israel (as well Egypt) are essential part of US Federal Budget. Guess what they use this money for? Yes, you guessed it right! In fact, this is the data that many people do NOT want to see, since all of Americans have paid for part of everything on there.
Now, let’s think of it. Who is killing who? Well? The circle goes round... you pay for the Zionists... Zionists occupies Arab land and kill people... more Arab and supporters hate Americans... and Al-Qaida flourish in between.
In other words, you are paying for your own death, Americans!!!
Now that explains why Military budget is nearly double than Non-Military. US government is trying it's best to buy us a better dying tool than the flu, and I'm saying 'us' because US government is generous enough to involve the whole world in this next massacre (a.k.a. Armageddon).

Hi Haitham,
I have a few questions:
Do you personally think Al Quida is a threat?
Not that you speak for Bahrain, but I’ll take your opinion: Do the citizens of Bahrain think Al Quida is a threat? Does the government of Bahrain think Al Quida is a threat?
Thanks,
Everyone does, David. Including me of course (So does Bahrainis and their government). Those extremist you see here and there are minorities and they don’t speak for anyone. If it was not because of the media focus on them and given them more space to as “breaking news” business to keep the media channels running, I doubt if anyone could have ever heard of them.
Al-Qaida was there since Afghanistan-Russia war. Did you hear of it then? They were supported by US tax payer’s money, and were one of the first troops in the world to use the famous American anti-crafts “stinger”, supplied by US government. But did you hear about them then?
But, wither they are there or not, wither they form a threat or not, that’s not the question. The question is, to how extant they are a threat, and why? And most importantly, how to defuse them?
I guess you know the answer. Everyone knows, the war is not a solution, but just is. Here they tried the war in Iraq, what did they gain? More threats and hate to America and its allies.
They claimed to be in ‘War on Terror’ since they raid Afghanistan in retaliation for 9/11. Did they kill the terrorist? Do you or anyone really think those terrorists are more than a punch of counted number of people that can be killed? And if so, why didn’t they kill them all these years?
Why can’t the world understand that by killing terrorists is not enough, for new ones will always come, in fact they always existed through out the history, in every nation, in every culture, there are extremist who turn to criminal actions under certain ideology or the other.
Having said that, the only solution to defuse these criminals is by placing just. By giving the rights to its people. By returning the stolen lands. By un-controlling the nations resources in the region. By lifting the hand of power and force from the peoples heads so that they can make the change that suites them, and only them, not that suite others.
having said all that, I just want to clear out again that national resistance in occupied lands, all occupied lands are ‘freedom fighter’ and should not be mixed with terrorist groups such as Al-Qaida or whatever. In fact, supporting ‘freedom fighters’ is part of defusing terrorist as well placing just.
Sorry if drifted from the main question, but just liked to make few point clear!
Thanks for your response.
Great response Haitham.
The US is generating terrorism in this world by supporting Israel and by their invasions of countries.
What I have learned here is that the Muslim faith hates occupiers and that the US failled to see this.
Muslims try to correct their own faults and do it within. Slowly, but eventually.
I totally respect your faith and your patience for it to be a righteous faith.
I bow before you in respect. I am honoured to hnow you. Thank you!
Thanks, kimmy. It is honor to have friends like you and all others here.
Have a good day :-)
