Iraq For Sale: The War Profiteers

by Haitham Sabbah on 09/27/2006

Acclaimed director Robert Greenwald takes you inside the lives of soldiers, truck drivers, widows and children who have been changed forever as a result of profiteering in the reconstruction of Iraq. Iraq for Sale uncovers the connections between private corporations making a killing in Iraq and the decision makers who allow them to do so.

Brave New Films are both funded and distributed completely outside corporate America. Over 3000 people donated to make Iraq for Sale, and it is up to you to distribute it. Give copies to co-workers and organize a screening in your neighborhood.

What a shame !

There are situations where contractors and soldiers work on the same exact thing (Rebuilding Iraq). While Contractors win 100,000 dollars and up, the soldiers do it basically for free. All for Corporations to enrich themselves. This is no more and no less than modern slavery. It is so hypocritical for politicians to later talk about their bravery and their loyalty to America, the same time they know these soldiers are being merely economic pawns of their capitalist ventures. The soldiers of course have to believe that they are fighting a “war against terror”. Otherwise they’ll be the ones committing suicide attacks in Washington D.C. ! Shame, shame, shame.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of the Bush lies and atrocities that he has supported.
Bush is not like Hitler. He is more like Stalin!
