If you lost God, you can always find him if you stick around to U.S. administration.
After God spoke to Bush, now it is the turn of his prophet (don't ask me who is the prophet of whom), Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. And the top US general witness this and defended the leadership of Rumsfeld, saying it is inspired by God.
"He leads in a way that the good Lord tells him is best for our country," said Marine General Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
As if Bush and Pat Robertson were not enough God's messengers.
Speaking of God messengers, one can't miss Christian Zionism especially when we come to know that one-third of American voters believe in Christian Zionism!
Many voters, however, say their opinion on Middle East issues is strongly influenced by the media and by religion. According to a just-released Zogby International poll, conducted for the Council for the National Interest, nearly a third (31 percent) of likely American voters believe in Christian Zionism, as defined as "a belief that Israel must have all of the promised land, including Jerusalem, to facilitate the second coming of the messiah." More than half (53 percent) of American voters do not believe in Christian Zionism, while sixteen percent are not sure. The full results of the poll are available at cnionline.org
At least we now know that God may have stroked one-third of US, not only Bush and Rumsfeld!

Bush may talk to God but I don’t think he has ever claimed that God actually responded. Ahmadinejad however…. Anyway it would not be the first time God made his will known through a bush, ask Moses. Let me know if Moses answers though.
That’s funny Haitham. I’m just glad we don’t see that kind of nonsense in the MidEast.
Haitham, don’t you see a lot of references to God, Islam, the Prophet in your little corner of the world? There’s a Party of God. Please.
It’s a figure of speech, guy! Americans say that all the time, it doesn’t mean we think God is actually talking to us! It’s like “follow your heart” – Jeez. Nice post, considering how often your people commit murder because they think that’s what God wants. At leasr Americans don’t worship that satanic version of God… imagine how f%#$!# up and dead you’d be if we did, eh? :P
Maybe we should all convert to Islam and declare jihad on arabs! That would be fun! Asta-la-vista, Sabbah and friends :D
I just wanted to ask if you have by chance come across a web article with the title of “Seeds of Armageddon Theology.” I ran into it while Googling recently. It shows why Christian Zionists are militant and also touches on their “rapture” belief. A rather revealing article, to say the least. Jon (You might consider reprinting it.)
Have the Palestinians contributed to the conflict in any way? Or are they merely victims?
It doesn’t matter what your religion is, because there are corrupt and radical leaders in all!
I sit back and watch the few extremes destroy what their religions stand for. On top of that, they coerce everyone else to support them or they will be harmed.
Fear is the most used coercion used by all sides.
This has to stop! PLEASE!
I am not right! You are not right!
Together we can both be right if the hatred and killing stops.
Two sides to every story.
It is a two way street.
How many cliches are needed to start a dialogue?
May I recommend a good, thought-provoking article on Google? It is “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism.” And “Seeds of Armageddon Theology” is a good one also. Jon
