I just ran by Quantcast, which is still on beta but providing some interesting stats that some bloggers might like to check.
If your blog is lucky to be profiled, you can see some fine statistical analysis that estimates some figures about your visitors, like, their age, gender, ethnicity, even education and income.
The statistics also estimate your US unique visitors a month, as well returning visitors (loyal visitors). In fact, I guess that all the statistics are based on US visitors only.
One of the interesting results I found about my blog (sabbah.biz) is that 80 percent of the visitors are females.
Sounds I’m sexy

Looking closer, I found that 85 percent of them have children ages 6-17, which means that US housewives like my blog 
So, if your blog is targeted at one of the above indexes give it a try (and pray that your female visitors are unmarried :))

That’s very funny. I guess you have all these informations on US visitors because the US is the only country that collects so much information on its consumers (these data must be based on informations gathered at the time of the transaction). These information are used also during election time to try to influence voters in the US.
Was I counted as a female?
Wallah am glad that 80% of the visitors of your blog are females becoz you talk about important issues and you have very valuable posts and this is a good sign that women are becoming more interested in topics that are not talking about clothes , makeup , beauty , food etc…

Well, this is actually good news that 80% of your US viewers are women. Why? Because you have the distinct opportunity to educate them concerning politics in the Mideast which will have a bearing on their upcoming vote, that is IF they vote. A study came out that 20 million single women of voting age did not vote in the 2004 election, the LARGEST non-voting block around and the married women felt social issues were the most important (the so-called soccer-mom, bible-study mom). If these women are reading your blog they are getting alot of information which they cannot help but have influence them. So KUDOS to you for being read by so many US women. And if other male bloggers out there pray their female readers are un-married, pray they VOTE too and vote with knowledge! Not only vote, take time to write your representatives and others about your concerns about our current foreign policy and how it is devastating the Middle East. Take time to get involved even if it’s in a small way. We as women CAN make a difference as concerned citizens because it is our children and the children of the whole world who need us. Interesting and funny! But I hope, Haitham, you pay attention to the gimmick, when they say in red “we have sparse data about sabbah.biz, so these are rough estimates. Help improve them.”
Before I came to the United States 30 years ago, I knew a lot about its history, geography, politics and way of life. However, I did not know that it is also the “Land of gimmicks,” so I had to learn about this the old hard way- by experience. Though America might have a lot of good things to offer, gimmicks is one I never been comfortable with. Though it might not be illegal, a gimmick, in my definition, is a dishonest trick to hock you into buying something or getting some service you might not need or you might not be able to afford in the long run. I can list, as an example, a timeshare my ex-wife twisted my arm into buying, based on gimmicks. It cost us $ 25,000 down the drain, plus a divorce! Even when we offered to sell it at $ 5,000 at a time of a financial crises, we found no buyers for three years, after which we could not afford to pay the $1,200 maintainace fee, so it went on foreclosure. We lost the investment, we lost the shared property and we lost our marriage! Cell phone companies are big on gimmicks; I had three bad experiences in a period of 5 years. Now I learned my lesson and decided I can survive without a cell phone!
