Guess where I live. I the middle of SW Ontario's Bible belt.
A funny part about this is that most people here are upset about Israeli actions in Palestein.
Why? Because it is against the true faith. Will it make a difference? Probably not because it is in rural Canada and not in the big cities that run this country!

Haitham,<br

Their absence undermines the impetus of this movement to end the occupation of Gaza.
I also notice that as during the invasion of Lebanon by Israel that the assassination of Gemayel by whoever has left Israel to not only continue its attack on the people of Gaza but to escalate those attacks. There is much discussion on who was behind the past assassinations of Lebanese leaders including this Gemayel who let us not forget his family as leaders of the Phalange and their association with Sharon in the murder of Palestinians in Sabra and Chatilla camps - But what I can see is that the new battle for the Middle East is being fought at this moment with Lebanon as a key country as the US and Israel fight for the heart of Lebanon. I have tried and tried to see over the past 18 months in what way Syria has benefited from these assassinations and I cannot see it. With this Gemayel they have lost, Hezbollah has lost, the Palestinians have lost because these people today mourning the death of Gemayel are not people who care a damn about the people of Palestine or Gaza or Beit Hanoun. The Americans are in control of the Gulf States and Egypt and Jordan. All that is left is Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and of course Palestine which if the forces of Israel and America succeed in Lebanon will leave Palestine even more isolated and as for Iraq - well 14,000 dead in three months, need I say more. They came, the Conquered, the destroyed and they left everyone to kill themselves.

i think it is extremely unfortunate that no single Arab country is on this list. "Arab street demonstrated for ages and nothing changed. IMHO, its better if they don’t because if a single guy conduct any stupid thing, next hour, all mainstream media will be reporting his incident and ignore all others around the world and the reason behind these demonstration."</i>
But not just arab people. On the 18th nov, in Rome the national demonstration for Palestine was reported "widely". But not for all the issues that demonstrators brought on the street. Main public and private media focused their attention <b>only</b> on three burnt puppets representing US IL and italian soldiers.

I quote your sentence

“Arab street demonstrated for ages and nothing changed. Why it is that the Israelis are leading this initiative, rather than the diaspora Palestinians?
Why is there no single ARAB nation on the list?
Wake up.

A notable initiative. NOW, we should ask ourselves:

Why it is that the Israelis are leading this initiative, rather than the diaspora Palestinians?<br
