I think the Egyptians have it right. They know how to take care of criminals. Just think our government is being attacked for keeping a terrorist standing too long, leaving the lights on all night, making it cold, maybe a little slapping. Sure and we torture people.

I have seen part of this video on German TV just two days ago, in a short report about police and torture in Egypt, and young people trying to stand up against it, particularily one young man whom the report focused on, who’s been a victim of the Egyptian police himself and who runs a blog to bring out information about what is going on in his country. The video absolutely leaves a lasting impression and yes, as the person above me said, it DOES need to be seen and known what is going on.

This is sick! Do you know how recent this incident was?

This is just as bad as the torture methods of Saddam’s regime, and probably worse than all the cases of torture in Abu Ghraib except for those where people died. Not that I don’t expect that people have been killed by Egyptian (or other Arab) police before.

You should post this on YouTube.
