The lies just keep on coming and Bush believes them.
Sorry Haithem! I'm trying to tell the people over here but they won't listen!
Israel is right and they support them.

All I know is that the West doesn’t know this and they don’t care because they think the Israelis are the persecuted race.<br

Thanks Haitham for another great and interesting post. Just three quick points.
1. The first video comparing the Portland police department to Nazis, and saying "who will fight when they take us to the camps," is pretty freaking ridiculous. No, it is actually ricockulous. :-) Yeah, the police suck but if you go anywhere in the world the police suck! Give people power and they go a bit crazy. Yeah, it ain't right that those people got billy clubbed and what not, but a lot of them did break a lot of laws. I ain't condoning police brutality, espescially in instances of race, sex, gender, etc. based discrimination, but to compare them to the SS is just so stupid. We must be vigilant against police brutality and seek redress through the media, the courts and the ballot box but don't make it seem like the cops in the US are stormtroopers.
2. To believe that the US population is sitting idly by while our freedoms are being taken away is wrong. There are groups actively working on both sides of the political spectrum, such as the ACLU and Libretarians, who are attacking these legislative infringements on civil liberties through the courts and the ballot box. Just look at our last election, if that is not a rebut to curtailments of liberties I do not know what is.
3. I believe it is great that there is massive protests in Lebannon against a 'corrupt government.' If they are corrupt, which I somewhat doubt but am not knowledgeable enough to come to a concrete decision, then the more protests the better. But one of the things that I find hilarious is that they are trying to take down the actual government. Democracy works in a few ways but a bullying by one side to have an elected body step down is not Democracy. That is called mob rule. In democracy, or at least the way I see it, you vote people in and let them serve their term. If they do good re-elect them, if they do bad vote for the other fellow or don't vote. For a group within the country who may or may not be the majority to force its will upon the rest of the country through shutting a country down ain't democracy, its peaceful protest. Diffrent things.
Love,
