are you serious with this post?

what a joke, the palestinian people have had unlimited opportunities to establish their own country in peace and have chosen to do the exact opposite. This in-fighting only shows that these people don't want peace; they are animals.

I do not think the Israelis have planned the latest Palestinian clashes, as this article claims. They might have realized something like this will take place, but even the Palestinians now say Israel should not get involved:

"Abu Zaida also encouraged Israel to remain on the sidelines.

"Israel cannot play a positive role in this matter, not now," he said. "Maybe when there is a peace agreement, God willing. Then, as neighbors, the more experienced and smarter neighbor can come and say 'Guys, why are you fighting?"' (http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArt.jhtml?itemNo=803125&contrassID=1&subContrassID=1)

Abbas slammed the Hamas in his speech, a government which did not do anything for the Palestinian cause but to fight Israel at the cost of Palestinian civilians.

The same government who said they will *never* accepts Israel's right to exist now claims they will stop the violence and declare a ceasefire for fifteen years(!) if Israel will retreat to the "green line," or the pre-1967 border. It's a government of puppets controlled from Syria and Iran.

The Hamas is a terrorist organization. As a result, not only the Palestinian government is isolated, but also the Palestinian people. The Western world, which pays the Palestinians' bills, will not support a terrorist organization, Israel or no Isreal. (by the way, the EU DID support the Palestinians, long after the U.S. and Israel did not, until recently.)

But the U.S., Israel and Europe gave Hamas a chance, by giving it three conditions to work with. Conditions can be negotiated and changed, but not when the Hamas government does not accept Israel's right to exist, and launching Qasam rockets after a truce has been called. (so who the hell do they want to make the 15-year old truce deal with? pink elephants? Even Mazen is making fun of then on that. And what ever happened to Henihyah's so-called "we'll never recognize Israel!" In Iran?)

Israel does not sit from the side and does nothing. It simply operats in Gaza as if nothing happened, taking out Fatah and Hamas activists wihtout distinguishing between them. The truth is that Israel does not care about the Palestinian civil war: they care to see results. If Fatah and Hamas will finally unite, or if Hamas will finally recognize Israel (or if pigs could fly), Israel will start taking things more seriously.

Even though nothing like this will happen in the near future, Olmart traveled to Jordan to discuss peace with the Palestinians with Abdallah, on a secret trip. He is also waiting to meet up with Abbas, according to recent reports, to talk things over.

The problem is that many think Abbas is a coward for agreeing to comprise with murderous Israel. Oh my God, how can we make peace with the Israeli monsters...! That would mean they'd won! And they will kill us anyway!

It's time to clean some wax out of our ears and get used to the idea that Israel is there. Israel does very ugly things, yes. Israel killed so many Palestinians, yes. But it's there. It's reality. Palestinians will not change it by keeping on bombing themselves up in buses or lunching home-made rockets into towns and villages, but only make it worse.

If Palestinians are counting on Israel and U.S. aid for support (which they obviously do,) maybe it's time they listen more to what they have to say, if they want to see their money.

No one wants this war, and no one wants a war with Israel. That's the final line.
