Hahahahaha! Love this! Think of the plus side, your bad hair day will not be immortalised on camera…
All he needs is cheap black and white film.
LOOOOOOOOOOL … that is hilarious!!! This way - just like June says, there’s no bad-hair day, no problem what to wear ect .. even if one would turn around (if the hands are not seen) it wouldn’t make much of a difference! I love that picture … but feel sorry for the women!
Ummm…..can’t see their faces. *Gasps*
the prettiest one is the 6th from left
I don’t remember where I got this link from, so excuse if it was here.
The latest fashionable islamic “swim”wear.

Good for the wading competition, but I don’t see them setting any olympic records.
Wait, let us clear something here. This photo has nothing to do with religion or Islam. It just show how stupid can some people be.
Why it doesn’t have anything to do with Islam? Simply because these pictures represent a very small percentage of Muslims, and to be precise, you will see this only in the Gulf, and to be more precise, you will see most of this mainly in Saudi Arabia.
Now, this dress is not Islamic one, but it is a traditional one which they inherit from father to son. I’m not saying it is right, but I’m saying it has nothing to do with Islam as a religion, even though those who wear them are Muslims, but they don’t represent any rule of Islam.
The picture you suggested in your link was presented in my blog here. And as I said many times before, I don’t see anything wrong in it except the bad design. It could have been tailored better.
In that sense, yes, Islam forbid woman from going to public naked, and I don’t see that different from a nun in Christianity. In fact, I don’t think a nun will be dressed in bikini if she decided to go swimming in public.
Anyway, details of woman dress was discussed several times in this blog. If someone is interested, you can start with this post.
this photo was taken in Beirut. the original may be found here:

Check this out. Western women were wearing even more restrictive swimwear in the not-so-distant past. http://www.fashion-era.com/early_swimwear.htm#Victorian%20Swimwear
(Not defending either, just pointing out that any society can have ridiculous rules. Or not, depending on how you see it. Funny how they generally apply to women, though.)
1st of all I’d like 2 say that I’m one of Ur sincere fan and for the last year Ur precious blog has been on the top of my list.
Although some times Ur words made me feel frustrated and angry, still I always find me checking Ur latest.
Regarding to this specific issue I’d like 2 clarify some points :
1- Unlike Ur comment I ensure that this pic reflects our Islam and the real hijab, too .
2- No1 should feel sorry for muslim women cuz we cover our body from head 2 toe willingly & no1 forced us 2 do so .
3- Wearing such Hijab give us a great feeling of respect
& secure.
lastly I just wanna 2 ask U, Have U ever read the Hijab verses in the Holy Qura’an ?
