Fireplace: Date Palm Style

I know it is cold out there. In fact, this is one of the coldest years over here in Bahrain.

Anyway, here is a new idea to get you warm. This invention won the prize for “Best Dumbass Idea of the Year.” It is called “Date Palm Fireplace”:

As you can see, it was cold enough not to cut the Date palm tree. C’mon… why waste the time and energy in doing that when it is going to burn, one piece at a time or hundred pieces

PS. Above photos are not necessarily from Bahrain. In fact, don’t ask me where this was taken, cause I don’t know. I got them by email from a friend and they can be anywhere in Arab land!
