I find it strange that Palestinianism would have gone nowhere had not Christian Arabs initiated modern political nationalism for the Arabs of Palestine such as George Antonious, Henry Cattan, George Habash and now Azmi Bishara although Anton Shamas, in my opinion was the first to launch this “state of all its citizens” slogan.

Bishara is someone the Israelis hate.
He is someone that the Palestinians can understand.
He is not Muslim or Jewish (Zionist).
He is a Christian.
This must bug the hell out of the Zionists. That is why they are doing everything they can to condemn him.
Basic question: What does it matter what your religion is? “Unless you are Zionist.”
Democracy works two ways. We ellect you and you lead.
Secondly: We ellect you and you become a dictator.
Bush and Olmert are working on the second way!
No swear words! I really dislike them both.
They have become dictators.

i read the article today, and i was wondering; isn’t it dangerous to put Azmi Bishara, Darwich and Kabbani in the same basket with the founder of Zionism?
