Everyone should realize there is a big difference between Zionists and real practicing Jews.

You are right... I learned to know the difference, and I proudly enjoy saying that most of my online friends are Jews only. I don't blame them for all of this, but I blame the silent majority, including Jew, Muslims and Christians for doing nothing about the continuous massacres.

It is unfortunate you don’t hear this on mainstream media. It is unfortunate you don't hear this on mainstream media. Everyone should realize there is a big difference between Zionists and real practicing Jews. Many devout Jews believe in Peace. Look up Rabbi Yisroel Weiss (JEWS UNITED AGAINST ZIONISM) and his wonderful work on the peaceful dismantlement of Israel. Zionists are not Real Jews, but politicians!
It's interesting that this happened at a place with the word "Zeitun" in it's name. "Zeitun" is also one of the cities in Turkey where Armenian inhabitants were driven out of their homes and massacred during the 1915 genocide. Very similar circumstance.
Zeitun is also a place in Egypt where there have been Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Muslims and Christians have been brought together in prayer peacefully during these apparitions. Even if you don't believe in this, believe in the fruits of it-peace between people of different backgrounds.
Zeitun means olive. The olive or olive branch is a biblical symbol of Peace! I believe in the power of prayer! We can bring peace with our prayers and actions. Get involved: demonstrate/rally, educate people, vote, blog, send emails, and most of all pray!

Very sad! Thank you for the nomination. I've seen 'The Thinkers Blog Award' thing before, but I have my reservations on such awards. I prefer to keep away from them.
Thanks for mentioning my blog :)
Wassim,
I agree Wassim. It is unfortunate that there are basic facts that we know, and we assume that all others know too, but that's not the case. e.g. I read somewhere that more than 40% of Americans think that Palestinians occupy Israel, not the other way round. Do I blame them? Of course not. It is our problem that we are not outreaching and teaching others about the truth.

We should remember these events and pass them on. As I didn't know about this before, I will find somebody else who didn't know about it.

In the brouhaha of “peace” talks, some people wanted everyone to assume that the problem began in 1967, not 1948.
